I think there's a misunderstanding here. No-Ad is a thing in doubles, not singles. And it's usually receiver's choice. For this tournament it's server's choice.
The usual single rules don't use No-Ad.

I'm still not crazy about the format. I would rather see them play best out of 3 sets with 6 games instead of best out of 5 sets with 4 games.
I don't mind that. What I like the most is not being so uptight about the crowd being silent and everything moving so swiftly.

Fed Cup final tomorrow. US has the better players but Belarus has home court. I think CoCo is going to pull through for the US but not sure about Sloane. She has been shit ever since she won the USO

Why are the two matches six hours apart? I get there are doubles to be played as well but come on. The Next Gen ATP was way better in that regard.

Team USA won Fed Cup! No thanks to Sloane Stephens who went 0-2 and is now 0-6 in post US Open matches. CoCo Vandeweghe won all 3 of her matches to clinch the victory
The game feels so slow after the Next Gen Finals. I want the shot clock and the all-camera system back the most.
