Well usually on no-ad matches, its the receiver that chooses the side. Why the choice of where to serve though? just a bit of tension?
other than that these changes are quite interesting

I wonder how Murray feels about one of his rivals culturally appropriating his heritage /sFed playing in a kilt makes the whole event worth it no matter what happens.
I think there's a misunderstanding here. No-Ad is a thing in doubles, not singles. And it's usually receiver's choice. For this tournament it's server's choice.

The usual single rules don't use No-Ad.
I'm still not crazy about the format. I would rather see them play best out of 3 sets with 6 games instead of best out of 5 sets with 4 games.Don't know about you guys but I'm greatly enjoying these Next Gen ATP Finals so far. It's great to see those youngsters playing without them being overshadowed by the established names.
I don't mind that. What I like the most is not being so uptight about the crowd being silent and everything moving so swiftly.I'm still not crazy about the format. I would rather see them play best out of 3 sets with 6 games instead of best out of 5 sets with 4 games.
federer looking comfortable enough. should do against sock. already up a set.
Yeah he got like 6 break chances and only broke in the tie break in the end.Yeah, good enough. Could've been better on BPs in the second but whatever.
