I think this could surprisingly work somehow, perhaps Gordon could berate you while on missions and afterwards you would have to cook based on the items you found during each mission.
Either that or you are Gordon and you need to enter into the Ashland's to clean them up, screaming expletives at monsters and ally's alike and after you have cleared them of monsters you renovate the levels and make them hospitable.

This version of Elizabeth still wants to go to Paris so Booker and Elizabeth worked at Downton to earn their living before going to Paris. Booker ended up falling in love with Edith Crawley while Elizabeth ended up being an Aristocrat due to a distant bloodline (which became part of a tear dimension). Booker became best buds with Mr. Bates while Elizabeth became well loved with the family and the downstairs staffs.
