2019 is officially over. Give THQ Nordic that Trending Gamer award. They really earned it.
nooooope. Odd that it's only available for 6 days as opposed to the usual two weeks

If it's legit, then one of the participants is the product development director for the entire company.
Which means the entire company is shit. It was already suspected after they picked up the KC developer, but this confirms it.
It's been confirmed, apparently via telephone call to the marketing director.

It's mind blowing that people still think this. THQ was literally disolved and everything they owned sold off to paid debts. They no longer exist, they didn't come crawl back from death, they are long gone.
There's this European company called Nordic, known for publishing tons and tons of shovelware over the years. They bought many of the THQ properties and then rebranded themselves after the latter. They are the company that just keeps buying tons of minor/obscure IPs and studios without a proper plan on what to do with them. They are the company that put out a port of a Nintendo DS game on the PS4 that managed to run worse than on the original ARM CPU from the early 00's. They are the company that put out Darksiders 3 and some awful remakes of the originals. And now they are doing an AMA on 8chan.
But I guess that's the power of a name. They are called THQ Nordic, and someone who doesn't pay enough attention will think they are the old THQ from back when.

What is the DS game in question?
I think their plan is to buy these minor and obscure IPs because it seems profitable for them.
Lock's Quest, a tower defense game that usually shows up in underrated game lists for the system, which I guess was why they pushed for the port.

It's part of the game's charm at this point.
Semi related I guess. But, I wonder what is gonna happen if THQ Nordic ever goes under. They are buying up so much stuff. It would be a shame to lose some of these devs / IPs.
In general I would say that the issue extends to any large game (including their demos) on the windows store. Smaller apps install just fine.tuxfool
Sorry for the delayed update I was out of the office yesterday but as of now your issue has been sent to the Forza Horizon team (they have been helpful in the past with various store issues) and my current manager has it as well and is looking to see if any of his store contacts are still around.
I will keep you posted and probably PM you privately if any more information is needed. PM me as well if you find a fix as the Forza team would probably be interested.
I might be better off posting this in a PC troubleshooting thread but it seems somewhat relevant here.
This is a vague issue, but I've noticed that my almost brand new pretty high end PC drops a lot of framerate in games, even little indie games, if I have any kind of video running on my other monitor: Twitch, YouTube, or an episode of something on VLC even. More so than my older PC seemed to be affected. I've tried messing around with some settings in the browser / VLC and even task manager priorities (which still seems to do nothing). Has anyone run into or solved a similar issue?

Honestly I don't think the problems are in their purview at all. It's either with the ms store or the windows update backend it uses.
The gif isn't accurate. The goalie would have to actually shoot the ball, then start to celebrate, then slow down and look embarrassed into the camera.Damn, lol, the THQ Nordic thread already has nearly 2,000 replies.
