I was wondering if we'd see this game come back, if only on Sony's PS+ service as a PSP game. Seems like Square could capitalize on renewed interest in CC with Zack being more heavily featured in FF7R compared to the original game and with Ever Crisis having chapters that with cover CC. But I never thought there was a possibility of a remaster, so this would be amazing.

I truly hope they haven't patched that bug (or feature?) that allowed you to skip every single combat by sticking to the walls while you walked.

It's actually very respectful to Zack and doesn't over-include him in things he logically has no reason to be involved in.

The problem is that it makes GENESIS ultra-critical to way too much of the original VII story and that's what sucks.

They gotta announce FF7R on Steam as well, right? Surely Tim Epic isn't gonna moneyhat this too, so it's not gonna be on Steam before the main game, right?

Edit: Actually I didn't even think that it's not on Xbox yet and won't be on Switch, so it's not like they give a fuck.

Zack was already in R1 and would obviously be part of R2. Why tease R2 with a shot of Zack? R2 is also NOT going to be on Switch.

This is obviously a remaster, especially with Gackt going out of his way to start marketing Genesis again.

Crisis Core's story is awful and this should be left in the past, at best the ok bits should be worked into part 2 of the remake.

Man, I 100%ed the game on PSP and always hated that it was stuck there, and no digital as well!
I'd really want to replay it, for sure.

It's Crisis Core Remastered. Who knows though, maybe they'll show a bit of Part 2 at the event anyway.

Oh man Crisis core is great! Well, not all of it, a lot of it is kinda purple prose-y, and there's too much Genesis. But all the Zack/Angeal/Sephiroth stuff is good, and the ending is amazing and easily Tabata's best.

I may be out of the loop - has there already been rumours of a remaster or could this just be a shadowdrop of an upressed CC on the platforms hinted at?

Mostly just Gackt starting to show up in costume as Genesis at shows and shit.

Honestly, what they should do with Crisis Core is an actual remake. And I'm not talking about a Bluepoint-style remake; a reïmagining. Take out the shit combat and replace it with the one from Remake, and significantly rework the story to make it better.

That, I would be interested in.
