Performance mode reads like it might go above 1080p at 60fps. That is if the game adjusts resolution to keep 60fps, ala id Tech6 games.

I mean it says "targeting 60fps". It might hover between 40 and 60 or whatever in addition to resolution hovering. That's what I'm wondering. How high the framerate stays.
Wow, if the 60fps mode doesn't come to the Pro, I'll have to buy a copy for the X. Impressive !!

Except they're doing fuck all for PC users who want HDR. Even Bungie delivered on that recently with Destiny 2.
Yeah, true but still for the most part it benefits more from a beefy GPU.
You can get away with cheap ass CPUs or old as hell.
Witcher 3 is everywhere. What if you could sync Steam/GOG/W10 and Xbox One X/PS4 regarding the saves, would that be impossible or are they just ignoring that functionality to push people to buy a specific version?

I really hope ive been a good lad this year and Mrs Claus gifts me a X1X so i can play tw3 the way it was meant to be played.

They'll eventually do it just give them time. Just like some developers prioritize PC, there are some with consoles too.

Does the pc version have HDR? I look forward to DF to see how close it gets to 60fps. Very nice patch.

Should be interesting to see how the game performs in its targeting 60fps mode. Witcher 3 is a really interesting game from a performance and tech viewpoint.
CPU is almost the same, 1080p targeting 60fps would be a good option for Pro owners.
Witcher 3 is well worth replaying mate, nothing much changes but terrific game to replay.
