This isn't the court of law. This the NFL. This is bad for the locker room, this is a bad look for the league, and it's another thing to add on the list of "issues with Antonio Brown"

Don't act like you would be giving him the benefit of the doubt if he were on any other team.

He shouldn't play. He shouldn't be on the team. He should never have been signed to begin with.
the Patriots had a murder play for them this leauge doesn't give a fuck

If they are indeed emails from Brown, it appears he admitted to some of what she is claiming.

I mean, if they are legit emails then punt him to the sun, but, anyone can set up a gmail account and have the name show up antonio brown or any name wanted. This is going to need to be verified but criminal investigators, until then, probably let the courts do their thing

Only two things would stop him from playing.

Video proof, and this is a coin flip.
Hurts the NFL checkbook

As soon as he was accused of murder they released him. They should take a similar stance here.

This is probably their best bet, unless they know something already we dont. They dont need him honestly, if the team that curb stomped the steelers sunday is the team they are bringing this season, you can just hand brady another ring. Even with out brown

If proven guilty, combined with all of the other BS, his career should basically be over

I very much hope this isn't true. It would mean there's another victim out there and it would mean that this man is a sexual predator. No winners if it's true.

Honestly it being not true is also damaging, as it gives ammunition to people who deny victim's claims. There are no winners here however it plays out.

Aaron Hernandez was arrested like an hour before he got cut.

This is a civil suit with a lot of publicly pieces of conflicting information
And after the Hernandez situation the Patriots don't want to deal with any of this. Civil or criminal. He's being accused of sexual assault. That's serious shit.

AB might be innocent. Let him go through the legal process. I'm not saying he should be thrown behind bars, but he doesn't need to be a part of the Patriots.

So a random person who he doesn't even know messaged him on IG? This is proof that he's innocent? For the record, not saying he's guilty.

Wow. It seems like all along AB and Big Ben actually had some common ground. Too bad it couldn't work out.

(Checks who the QB is of the Steelers)... Did they though?

This sounds suspiciously like victim blaming. It's not her fault if he's a piece of shit.
You must not know how the Steelers QB is

I know what Ben was accused of. I also know that James Harrison beat the mother of his child. The Steelers aren't without their players of questionable character, over the last few years. But this guy has issues all over the place, and he draws absurd amounts of attention to himself.

Given their schedule for the next two months, the Pats could win without him by simply trotting out Edelman, Gordon and Dorsett.
They could easily release him, AB could deal with these charges and - if they get dismissed - he could rejoin the team before their next competitive game.

They knew what an asshole this guy was before they signed him. They don't care.

Lol if there's anything to this after it's looked at the Patriots will drop him instantly. They certainly don't need him or the distraction.

The implication is that this person knew about the claims before they were public, but who knows if that makes her claims true or not.

I have no idea how this plays out and abstaining from having an opinion until there is more information.

holy shit, wtf. Patriots have to cut him. Fuck that.

There are precedents to follow to stand him down as recently as this year. A football player in Australia was accused of rape in company way back in February and 27 weeks later, his case is still ongoing and he hasn't played a second of sport in that time, and probably won't ever again if found guilty.

If that person has audio evidence that she's planning to extort him, it would be substantial. All of this is unconfirmed though, hard to see this any particular way.
