There is no way square is making that mistake again. The exclusivity deal really hurt the game's I initial sales.
No praying necessary, I doubt they'll do (timed) console exclusive again after the last one.
Really curious if we're gonna see a full gameplay reveal.

I really enjoyed the first one, but the second (Rise of) was really boring. Hoping for the best.

Thought the last one had a host of issues, but its blend of open world and linearity was not one of them. Looking forward to more of the same tbh.

Yes! Please let there be more variety in locations (think of TR2 or 3!) and more 'real' diving sequences. This 'hold down LT to dive' thing was purely gimmicky.
Calling the previous game open world is kind of a stretch. But I doubt they'll go back to an Uncharted 1-3 type super linear structure. Even Uncharted doesn't do that anymore.
Not necessarily. When Crash N. Sane was revealed, they only mentioned it coming to the PS4 but the source code for the site mentioned multiple platforms. We now know it was in fact a timed exclusive.
Well, they have all their staff signed up to make Marvel games after this, and this isn't exactly a style of game that's on the rise, so...
Wish list:
- Proper tombs.
- A decent story.
- Father-daughter stuff = out of the window.
- Dialogue that isn't comparable to a preschool drama theatre production.
- Less combat, less human interaction and a whole lot less of human altogether; just Lara isolated in an ancient tomb.
The deal resulted in $0 being made in DLC revenue on PS4 since everything was included in that version and the sales of the PS4 version were butchered to an extent that I got the game for less than half price 1 month after release and I live in a country where games are not quickly put on such deep sales.
It's been 2 years and 4 months, but I guess I didn't realize it's been so long.

Maybe because it was originally released in 2015 for Xbox consoles.
But later on PC, PS4. It also got PS4 Pro/XBOX support recently...

I agree here. I had a blast with the first one TR2013 on the 360. But RotTR...nah.
Will be about 3 years when it comes out. Last one came out only two years after the first one.
