If people want to see why Trump isn't going away, just look at the coverage of this. This is nothing but publicity for him and tonight he'll undoubtedly ask for people to donate to him for his 2024. Regardless of what happens with the charges, he won't be barred from running for president.
It's the first time in American history that a former President has been charged with a crime. The coverage would be exactly like this no matter who it was.
He is now officially in the building and therefore officially UNDER ARREST. We had to wait until 1:25PM EST on 4/4/2023. But the time is here.
Now we wait to learn exactly what the charges are. No camera during the arraignment and indictment sadly.
