Honestly, Jack Smith is just trying to spread his Trump trials out, give him updates and summons on each day of the week for a different one. Just so he doesn't get confused.

On an equal playing field, this one might be the harder one to convict versus the documents case, but since Smith is indicting, we know there's endless rock solid evidence. And since this one will be tried in Washington DC without a sympathetic judge, the chances go up.

The indictment will make heads spin. If you thought the evidence the Jan 6th commission revealed was bad, what you will find in the indictment will be MANY times worse.
So then the rumors might indeed be true about Georgia possibly happening this week. This lets Jack Smith get ahead of it by a few days potentially. If J6 does come out that may prompt Georgia to kick it back another week or two to give this breathing room.

What's really amazing is that all these folks are willing to fall on the sword for Trump but not the other way around. Rudy probably flipped when it could have been avoided if Donny paid for his legal fees, but that's not Trump.
Was Rudy seen as one of the masterminds behind Jan 6th? Meaning the actual assault on the capitol. I thought that was more Roger Stone's bag?
The thought is that this case also includes the fake elector scheme, which Rudy was very much a part of. So it's more broad than just the Capitol riot. It's about Trump and his camps greater effort to overturn the election.
