I'd like to know what aspect of the fanbase is supposedly toxic. The linked article this thread was bumped with seems extremely well researched and articulated.

You must not follow the show/fandom if you are asking in good faith how the fanbase is toxic. The show is over, and the way the fans overreacted to everything (some well deserved, some not), I doubt Dreamworks wants to touch the property again for quite a long time.

I think the author is reading too much into the whole clone thing.

I'm watching this whole thing again. Currently on season 6, just finished the Monsters and Mana episode which is brilliant and one of my favourites. I don't really remember anything that happens after S6 so I'm looking forward to rewatching the final two seasons.
