Yup! very little issues on my end and a patch for the bugs that are there is getting released tomorrow.
I am just happy that it doesn't have the VFR issues Reach, H2A MP and Halo 4(is going to) have.It is extremely good. Finally looks how I imagine it in my memory.
Waves work on the codec is wrapping up, should be fixed real soon
They extended the flight though, which likely means the game won't be releasing until early next month. Originally this flight was gonna end yesterday.Halo 3 PC flight has been the smoothest yet. That is why they are doing this. Game will launch very soon after.
As long as you are signed up and have communications on you will have it today :)
Different engines, but all games will get TLC when 4 starts wrapping upDoes the smoothness of halo 3 flight mean the fixes will rollback soon into the other games?
I checked my messages and it's a bunch halogaf friend requests I haven't seen in years. Am I checking the wrong place?

You gotta be fucking kidding me m8
Halo 3 wasn't made with PC in mind, Infinite is. Take it however you want. You gotta be fucking kidding me m8
If the work on the collection is indicative of what to expect with the Infinite port, maybe I'll need a XSX after all.
Fingers crossedHalo 3 wasn't made with PC in mind, Infinite is. Take it however you want.
Sounds are muddied and really bad, sigh. Also uncapped frame rates are borked for me :/ Feels like Reach all over agin. FuckYou gotta be fucking kidding me m8

is the jitter gone? Reach was really bad when it comes to this. I had 144 fps capped but it felt like 40-60 because frametimes jumped all over the placeGot me some 165fps Halo 3 at 1440p. Very nice and smooth but the framerate doesn't save me from being rubbish at this game now. Also I cant see any difference when switching the graphics toggle, I wonder if it's bugged.
I did not notice jitter but I don't have a great eye for this stuff. I didn't try Reach. It never felt like 40 anywayis the jitter gone? Reach was really bad when it comes to this. I had 144 fps capped but it felt like 40-60 because frametimes jumped all over the place

Halo 2 and 3 have no issues at high refresh rates, Reach is the worst, CE is a bit better.is the jitter gone? Reach was really bad when it comes to this. I had 144 fps capped but it felt like 40-60 because frametimes jumped all over the place

Halo CE and Halo 2 don't use the old Waves audio 360 codec, Waves is wrapping up their work on upgrading the codec from PowerPC > x86 and will be out soon going by their monthly blogs. So, they haven't fixed the audio issues in Reach, and this one also suffers from the same problem?
Are Halo: CE and Halo 2 equally bad? I honestly gave up on the Collection entirely after Reach, because of the terrible sound.
