So it's been over 4 years since we have seen any gameplay from a new Halo game. For context, Halo 5 was released 3 years after Halo 4. It's been a long time. We have had two trailers, a few small details, and not much else.
-We Know the game takes place after Halo 5
-We know the game is a "spiritual reboot" meaning it's still in the 343 trilogy of games but will be a sort of soft reboot of the series
-The art style is heavily influenced by the original trilogy and Halo Wars
-The game seems to be a lot more open than some of the previous Halo games, many have compared that openness to the feeling you get during Halo Combat Evolved
...and that's kind of all we know. Infinite should be launching in under a year, and we kind of don't know exactly what it is. I'm just wondering what everyone wants from the game. A complete reinvention of the series? More of the same that we got from 343? A copy and paste version of what Bungie gave us? I'm curious what the overall consensus is.
