What is Obsidian Entertainment's best written game?

This post and the acclaim in this thread has me very curious about MoTB, I'll have to try it out sometime. Planescape is quite the comparison.

I mean, it would be the first for most studios, given how they only started having an interactive category last year. :P

Its a fantastically written game. The Forgotten Realms have never had a more interesting story in it

Mask of the Betrayer is quite easily the most impressive and coherent Obsidian game in terms of themes and writing.

I voted NW, but in retrospect probably I would have voted MotB.

Pillar was when they started to falter, it's largely overwritten and boring. The only two interesting characters are Avellone's ones.

Maybe it's my own bias showing but I wonder how many people actually played Pentiment, if these are accurate results. As fun as NV was, it's not in the same conversation.
