Quit Smoking (I already bought a Juul, and haven't bought a pack in over a month)...but the temptation will definitely be there during the holidays, so we'll see how I hold up.

Don't die (This one meant a lot more years ago when I was in a worse place but I keep it here anyway)
Move out to a better place
Take care of myself (diet/exercise/seeing doctors/dentists)
Give out more compliments to people
Stop being so passive and keeping everything to myself

I saw this thread and realized that I don't really have a resolution for this year.
I normally set a dish/recipe that I want to master, but I went on a diet and exercise program earlier this year. Using my diet and exercise program that I'm already doing feels like a cop-out.

So I decided that this year I'm going to make more time for friends and family.

i'm going for 52 medals in 52 weeks... i do a lot of running, cycling, and swimming, and throughout the warmer months i'm always off doing 10k/half marathon, cycle sportive's, open water swims, or triathlons

i got 20 medals this year with ease, so i'm genuinely gonna go for it next year

(not every week, some weeks i'll double up to give myself a week off)

I don't keep any. I'm the "fun" guy at parties who tells everyone that the New Year is an arbitrary date and if you want to make a healthy lifestyle change you can start at any time.

Burn my candles I've amassed over the last five years.

Play more games that I've spent money on.

Eat less candy, restrict to buying one or two a week.

All things that seem easy, reasonable, and will make me feel better. (The candles thing sounds goofy, but it's the space they take that's the negative. Games is me feeling dumb spending and not playing.)

So last month I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. I've always struggled with being overweight for years, and poor dieting eventually led to that with a calvacade of other health issues like my body have a lot of water retention. Thankfully, the hospital caught it in time and managed to drain all the excess fluid from my body, all 100lbs worth. I've been discharged for about a month now and have completely changed my eating habits, going on a low-sodium, low-carb diet and so far I've continued to lose steady weight.

My goal for 2020 is to continue to lose weight, around 60lbs or so because that would put me at the recommended level my doctor was encouraging me to get to once discharged.

Thankfully my family has been fully supportive in helping me through all of this, and since shedding so much weight by sleep has been massively improving and breathing is much easier.
