Eggnog mixed with 7up/Sprite. My Grandma also makes a good eggnog pie. I have the recipe for it but haven't tried it yet.
GODDAMNIT YOU HEATHEN! It's supposed to be ginger ale!Eggnog mixed with 7up/Sprite. My Grandma also makes a good eggnog pie. I have the recipe for it but haven't tried it yet.
It makes the eggnog last longer, and it doesn't effect the flavor very much. I'm cheap so I want my eggnog to last as long as possible.
I've tried it with Ginger Ale. It's good, but my wife would drink all the Ginger Ale if I tried using that.
Muhboi! This stuff was AMAZING. Something that sort of reminded me of it that is here in Belgium (I never saw it in the states, but maybe it's new this year) is Pepsi Max Ginger.
I always get at least one full cheesecake from my grandmother this time of year. It's the most amazing thing. As to actual made dishes my grandmother makes a delicious lemon delight for the holidays that I always look forward to.
I'm Scottish but moved to the US. We don't usually eat Thanksgiving dinner and my in laws are Chinese so even when we do it's a Chinese banquet. So I really miss Turkey, stuffing etc at Christmas. Everyone just stares at me when I suggest it.
;) lol I mean this from Switzerland (although I am not from Switzerland you can buy it in Germany), it's similar to Lebkuchen. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basler_Läckerli
