Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S release date and price finally revealed

Microsoft is set to hold a press event soon to showcase the next-gen console pricing, and it's pretty familiar.

We can confirm via our sources that the entry-level Xbox Series S will cost $299 at retail, with a $25 per month Xbox All Access financing option, which Microsoft is planning to push hard via various retailers and a large global roll out. The more powerful Xbox Series X will cost $499, with a $35 per month Xbox All Access financing option.

Both consoles will launch on November 10, 2020.

November 10 is a little unexpected. A lot of people were thinking November 6. But the One X did launch on a Tuesday, too.

$299/499 are great prices. $25/35 on All Access might help a lot of upgrade sooner in this economy, too.

Hmm I was hoping the Series S had a disc drive so I could do some b/c stuff with my old 360 games but guess that isn't the case so not sure if I need this at all now.

Unless Sony ups the PS5 digital hard drive size, there really should only be like a $50 difference between PS5 models

how does All Access work if you already have a Game Pass Ultimate sub?

edit: looks like the 24 months of All Access is through a code tied to the system that you can redeem whenever

Those monthly All Access prices are a very good deal. A next gen console with Gamepass Ultimate for $25 or $35 is insane value.

Good stuff, hopefully they play nice for us in Canada and don't go over $599 CAD. Although I'll put $700CAD to the side just incase
