I forgot I was watching the series (crazy life stuff) and started binge watching from episode 4 up to the latest.
I was getting a little bored of the love triangle stuff in episode 4 and thought about skipping to the next episode, glad I didn't. Holy crap did everything ramp up at the end of the episode and all the following episodes just piled on more.

I don't think it's permanent, more "we don't want to debut two versions of Deadpool in the same year" kind of thing.
I don't see where Deadpool would fit in unless it was gonna be a Morph cameo or EMP episode cameo

Deadpool just doesn't fit currently. Also Deadpool is a prima donna character. He sucks all the eyeballs toward him. Would be a huge distraction.

This, they should be able to use whoever they want. It's not even set in the same universe so it doesn't matter. It's the same bullshit with the Batman situation, just make a bunch of Batman shows, no one's going to be confused by it. Batman is great just make more Batman.
I am definitely not heartbroken at no Deadpool.

Yeah the show has enough to juggle with all of the characters already in it--Professor X, Cyclops, Jean, Storm, Wolverine, Rogue, Beast, Gambit, Morph, Jubilee, Sunspot, Magneto, Cable, Bishop, Forge, Nightcrawler, Madelyne, Mister Sinister, Bastion--I'm okay with Deadpool appearing in an episode in a future season but focusing on the core team was the correct choice here.
Yeah and even Rogue stopped him at first and could see he's going for the kill.

Beau finally confirmed that it was Iceman was on Genosha. I love that they had an omega-level mutant running an ice cream cart.
Funny enough the roster in 1997 was actually already the Heroes Reborn roster that was in a pocket universe after they all died during Onslaught.
The team right before that would have been Captain America, Iron Man, Giant Man, Wasp, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, Namor, the Falcon, Quicksilver, Crystal and Hawkeye.

Having Iceman there instead of Soft Serve is utter cowardice.
In Remember It, he teleports next to Rogue after the initial attack.
I think he was under rubble and used his force field to blow it off him. I'm not sure we've ever seen Magneto teleport in this series.
I think about half the mutants in Genosha went on vacation before the attack. Big mistake on Bastion's part.
Just watched the first episode and yeah that line got me good.
I'm iffy on some of the VA choices, but God damn the writing is amazing.
I really need to check out Silver Surfer...in close proximity I've seen other recommend it and also mention Jean/Phoenix

Real talk, why was Logan there. They don't even wanna kill Magneto as he needs to reverse the damages.
Bringing him there is in fact implying that killing him was on the table if talking didn't do it. And all they need is for him to "turn it off" which killing does.
Yup. That's the episode where I literally leaned forward and started really paying attention.
Except there's nothing in the show indicating he's maintaining anything. The show presents it as they need him to do something.
This is what I fear when MCU does X-men. Other media gotta conform to MCU. (I mean they did it already with Kamala)
Spidey should not even be around unless he is prepping for Unlimited.
Would find it hilarious if they pulled a backdoor pilot that leads into Unlimited. It would be a total waste of an episode number but that would be funny.
