Yeah. You earn so much bonus EXP that you can regularly go up multiple levels at a time per inn stay.
going back to early areas and take revenge is a hell lot satisfyingJust beat that fucking gorilla that killed me multiple times outside of Torigoth when I was just trying to find stuff to sell so I could get gold to finish poppi
Hope that motherfucker burns in hell
Bonus EXP is what you get from discovering new landmarks, completing sidequests... Things like that, aside from fighting.
If you get enough EXP to level up while in a battle, you level up automatically during the battle. But you can only actually put your Bonus EXP to use at inns. And you end up getting a lot of it.

Oh I see. Is the game still going to challenge me if I abuse this?
Main quest wise, nope, the mechanic itself is made if YOU FELL, the main quest is too challenging. as for Post game. there are severals side quest to be undertaken and post game only UM to be tackled.... as long as you dont abuse the "meta" buildsOh I see. Is the game still going to challenge me if I abuse this?
Level isn't a huge deal, knowing how the combat system works is way more important. You could out level a unique mob by 20 levels and still get destroyed if you can't use the system correctly. So long as the mobs you're fighting aren't ~10 levels above you they won't pose much of a challenge (if you can abuse the system properly).Oh I see. Is the game still going to challenge me if I abuse this?

Bird Brain to #4So I have three overdrive protocols and I want to use one of them to move either Perceval or Finch from Nia to someone else. My questions are A) which of the two is the better blade and B) who should the better blade go to?
This technically isn't counted as abusing the system; it's arguably your main means of leveling for most of the game (so long as you're not stopping to kill every single mob) and it scales consistently for the most part.
Towards the end however you will start to accumulate an incredible amount of stored exp from the increasing number of side quests, merc quests, landmarks, etc., which does allow you to very easily overlevel the stage of the game that you are at. The game can still challenge you, but the level difference will make some of the later sections more forgiving than it should be.
You're going to get another tank, an avoidance tank, so maybe move Perceval to that character. So I have three overdrive protocols and I want to use one of them to move either Perceval or Finch from Nia to someone else. Need help here.
So imtrying to fill up pyra's affinity chart but for the life of me I cant find this creatures to kill.
Im looking for something called (in spanish) langrejos bufa (probably something looking like a crab) in Mor Ardain.
Every guide ive tried to use says different things and they are all wrong.

Does XenoCross count as single-player? Serious question.Surely, this is one of the longest single-play games ever? The amount of content is absurd.
I'm 90h into the game and very little of it has been padding. It's honestly one of the best paced +100h games I have ever played. They killed virtually all of the grinding and fluff of XC1 and made all the time you spend with the game worthwhile. Not sure about the post-game yet.Does XenoCross count as single-player? But yeah, the amount of content is absurd (though the amount of padding is also absurd).
Dunno I feel the menu wait times are infuriating, some of the blade affinity progression systems are time sinks for the sake of time sinking, and there is way too much useless dialogue, not so much in the side quests but in the random banter and how on top of that it has a tendency to "lag" which is extremely annoying.I'm 90h into the game and very little of it has been padding. 90h Xenoblade 2 felt like 30h Persona 5.
Thanks, will try this afternoon.
Tjats actually what one of the guides said. I already been there for quest and have a marquer, went there and theres only one type of enemy, but not langrejosI think those are the enemies that only appear in the secret area in the lower section. Look in YouTube how to get there.

Ahhhhh, that would explain a lot.Check the weather, they only appear on normal weather (basically they don't appear if you see that weird glimmering dust in the air)
Ahhhhh, that would explain a lot.
How does the weather change BTW? Is it chapter dependant, because everytime I go to Mor Ardain now is sand dust wind everywhere. Im pretty sure i also slept and weather was still the same.
I think I've done all regular sidequests now :/
The blade quests will be annoying to unlock because many of them needs me to have 9800 in trust :/

Ok will do! Thanks! You need to quick travel to another area, outside of Mor Ardain in this case, then telephoto back and see if it changed. Is not chapter related seems random.
Yeah, too bad I can't rewatch them like the cutscenes.Honestly so far my favorite thing about this game (other than the combat) are the Heart-to-Heart's. They do a great job at fleshing out the characters while showing a different side of them. And I love that they have variety. Some are endearing, others are funny and some are even sad.
Would this team + blade setup work for all the end game content? Any particular recomendation or tip?
Anyone know the name of the song that plays before the Zeke fights? Not the actual battle theme but the theme that plays during his gag cutscenes. I'm not managing to find it.
Man Mythra is so good that it is hard to go back to using Pyra.
Pyra's only real advantage is that fire integrates better with other Blade Combos. Light is much tougher, especially given the paucity of Dark Types (none granted by the story and few among the rare blades).
well, Brighid can do that if you use Morag, also if at some point you need Pyra's fire you can change to her mid battle. Still you should use Mythra as Main.
In my case I pulled every dark rare blade, so no problem lol.
Hope I get another party member soon. I don't care how good Tora or Poppi are, I can only take so much "meh meh meh".
