Amazing.. I'm actually used to the skimpy outfits now.. Maybe someday when I start an NG+, I'll use those outfits.
I'm not sure to which group of people this post is directed, but I agree.
Wait, can I have her wear this outfit in Torna?
How do I access it?
Thankfully, Tora doesn't exist in Torna. Its a positive step. If only they patched out Tora, then we'd have a GOTY Edition ready to roll and we can take the game further in sales
I checked some pages back and it seems you can buy it from a Nopon merchant in Feltley.
Malos is that contrast. He's mostly black and she's mostly white.
Having Mythra's entire legs and back be solid black is too much uninterrupted black.
Pneuma adds a lot more black to her design, but it's spread out and mixed well with white.
She's a goddess of light like Palutena.
Mythra's portrayal in Cole's play:
Of course it clashes more with Palutena. It was partly a joke since the person I responded to said black worked better because you can't have light without shadows and both Mythra and Palutena are goddesses of light.Pantyhose/tights are always welcomed.
As a character designer theres a HUGE difference between the use of black in Mythra, and the photoshopped palutena.
Mythra already had a lot of black stripes and detaling present in her design (even before, while Palutena had none. Thats why it clashes much more with Palutena than Mythra IMO.pneuma
Could it have been thought about the design and how to cover the legs a little more? Yes, thats true (maybe use black stripes and white), but actually the all white leggings in the photoshoped version posted here and in the other thread look really bad as it doesnt break the upper part from the lower part and she just looks like a massive white mass. You need to brake the design a little sometimes so it flows with the eyes better, and that somewhat works actually with the black leggings.
Something, that by the way, is present also with Palutena's design, not only she has a non mirrored design left and right so the visual blandness of the all white is broken, but the, brown belt, the red stripe in the skirt and the brown lines of the tall sandal boots also brake much of that stocking white leg with the white dress.
Of course it clashes more with Palutena. It was partly a joke since the person I responded to said black worked better because you can't have light without shadows and both Mythra and Palutena are goddesses of light.
I agree that the legs being a solid color is bad all around, but solid white works better than solid black. Part of it is also that the black makes her look too modern/futuristic when she's supposed to look the least modern of her forms. Black tips her look too far towards space princess than an ancient goddess. Her original look balances that better.
Ideally, though, I'd just lengthen the skirt a bit and maybe give the attached crotchpiece some short legs so people stop thinking it's panties. Works for Simon and his skirt is shorter and made of thinner material. Speaking of which, I noticed Simon and Pit both have upper leg bracelets on one leg like Mythra for asymmetry.
IMO Nintendo's purchase of Monolith is comparable to when a sports team makes an under-the-radar trade that nets them a player that will forever alter the franchise's future for the better.Monolith are the coolest fucking developers. I hope Nintendo realizes what a gem they have.
Could this hint at a potential Pyra/Mythra newcomer for smash using the new outfit? I doubt they'd go all the way for a random sticker.
The change is still ill-advised. It looks like textures aren't loading in lol
I can't really see them getting in without Rex (I.E. their driver). Either way, maybe? I sure as hell hope so, 'cause Ultimate will likely be Rex's only chance at being playable.Could this hint at a potential Pyra/Mythra newcomer for smash using the new outfit? ThanksIt's optional, but the AUX core is so fucking good in Torna.
Talk to the Nopon by the campsite in Feltley Village.
Agree to disagree I guess. Palutena is a straight take on Athena, complete with shield, staff, and white himation-esque draperies, and while the use of white to denote an affinity of light is certainly a part of her design, I would argue it derives much more from her place in the game's faux Greek pantheon. Regardless at least now we know the design was done by Monolithsoft and wasn't just someone filling in her key art with a paint bucket, which indicates to me that tried to find the most aesthetically and thematically appropriate look they could.Of course it clashes more with Palutena. It was partly a joke since the person I responded to said black worked better because you can't have light without shadows and both Mythra and Palutena are goddesses of light.

This led to people in discord asking to give black leggings to more characters for fun and this happened:

That looks awful and doesn't add anything to the light motif. Light in game is never represented as white, it's always appears as golden yellow. Black is the way to go 100%, especially if we consider that a more appropriate light metaphor would be the fact that light cannot be perceived without shadow to differentiate it. Giving her white leggings really ruins her color scheme, much more so than the default.
it just looks like black leggingsThe change is still ill-advised. It looks like textures aren't loading in lol
It looks like two vertical black spaces, like there's some contest going on and Nintendo wants us to figure out what's hidden for a prize.
I mean...if you see that? the color isn't pitch so there's no void effect going on. it's actually being affected by lighting, so there's no way it'll get lost on a similarly colored background (which isn't on display in the picture to begin with), and there's no tangent issue causing her silhouette to be obscuredIt looks like two vertical black spaces, like there's some contest going on and Nintendo wants us to figure out what's hidden for a prize.
is it optional or it just change it?
edit: it's optional, cool
In the main game you get it from a Nopon on the east side of Argentum on the bottom floor by one of the salvinging points. How do I get the costume? I want to use it but I don't know how to acquire it. I have the game updated and all the DLC.
Due to the way damage calculation works in this game, critical damage tends to be a lot more important than regular additive damage increases. It kind of depends on your set-up, but this is one of the best possible aux cores in the game for Mythra.Lame its tied to a 25% crit boost aux core. Which for me would mean losing 45/30% flat damage increase aux cores.
optional.
