Endgame. I tried watching game of thrones but never got into it. Whereas I've been watching every MCU movie since I was 14 years old.

Avengers.

I used to LOVE GoT, but when it's quality dropped a few seasons ago and it started to feel more like it was reveling in the misery of its characters than actually being entertaining, that's when my interest tanked.
To their credit they definitely improved things, but I've never gone back to my original interest level in the franchise.
Didn't watch the last season for quite a while after it finished airing (only managed to have one thing spoiled which wasn't too bad).
Me watching this final season will be more because of a feeling of obligation rather than actual interest in how the show will end (and I would be incredibly surprised if the books ever conclude).

I get a little bored by the "samey" nature of a lot of the MCU movies (but still enjoy them overall), but Infinity War was incredibly enjoyable, one of the few times I haven't been let down at least a little by a big budget movie in a long time.
Felt like such an incredible culmination of all the previous MCU movies, and I'm really excited to see how it concludes with Endgame.

Germany...
Neither...? Grew out of both, Marvel and GoT. The sad part about GoT is, however, that the series made me read the books and ever since I read the books, everything has been on hold for 6 years. Im feeling even worse for people who read the books before I read them. Maybe George finds time to finish the books once the series over.
As of Marvel, their movies seem all the same to me. I guess I would watch Endgame if I had to choose because I watched every Marvel movie up to this point except for Captain Marvel (waiting for the digital release so I can rent it). And I am curious because I want to see how everything ties together in the end, even though chances are like 100% that I dislike it (i am looking at you Deus Ex Machina..) but we'll see about that.

Long story short: neither but if I had to Endgame

Literally asked my friends this last week hahaha.

Resounding answer was Endgame. I think the GoT year-long hiatus killed a lot of hype. Tbh I could take it or leave it rn.

Oh man, this is tough.

I think I have to choose Endgame though, I need to see who lives, who dies and how everything works out, I feel like everything leading up to it has been very satisfying.

I cannon wait for GoT though, but I'm also worried it could end terribly. Haha.

I watch MCU movies because they're a pure joy to me, and there's nothing else quite like them. Endgame is probably my most anticipated movie ever.

I watch Game of Thrones because it's pretty riveting, but it doesn't blow me away on the same scale, nor does it bring me the feeling of joy, just mounting tension.

GoT easily. I mean, Endgame will probably end with some completely lame-ass time reversal or parallel universe bullshit trope. I have no faith in MCU keeping most of the dead, well dead, so I definitely would prefer to see how GoT ends.

i think people saying got is bad need to look at how this scene was hyped up since season 1 and yes its awesome

Meh. Lots of troops disappearing from previous locations when convenient for a big action setpiece, and somehow the Lanisters still got the loot apparently which renders the entire scene pretty pointless.

Stannis coming to save the day when the Wildlings attacked the wall was far more effective.

Endgame. I've waited this long for the ASoIaF books, I'm fine never seeing the show ending.

GoT S8

I've got zero interest in superhero movies. Game of Thrones I've not watched either, but I've read most of the books and I plan to watch the show once I finish.

End Game for sure. I like GOT, but I honestly lost steam with it over the last few seasons. I vaguely remember where all the plots are and don't know how much I honestly care about the white walker stuff.

GoT and it's not even a competition. You pretty much know endgame will be have a hero sacrificing himself(probably the one who's contract will finish soon) to save all the rest and bring them back to life. No stakes in the MCU

As much as Game of Thrones has declined in quality, there are characters there I actually have interest in. The MCU has been a snooze fest for me, so the choice is easy.

GoT S8. I've got no emotional investment in the marvel stuff. And even though GoT has gotten significantly worse over the years, I still want to see how it all ends.

I don't watch Game of Thrones but make a point of seeing every MCU film, so easy choice.

As cool as Endgame seems, I feel like they are just going to top themselves in a year or two

GoT finale is more definitive as a pop culture event. If you missed it that was it. There is nothing bigger in the horizon from them.

Game of Thrones.

Lets be real ... death is meaningless in superhero stories/movies. Anyone really stressed out that Superman wouldn't be brought back to the life?

Black Panther, Spider-Man, etc. etc. will all be back. They won't even be dead for one full movie.

Game of Thrones, even if its becoming more of spectacle based story ... all bets are off as to what will actually happen in the end. It's a much more compelling story.

GoT. Been reading these books for too long and there's no guarantee the books will ever be finished. I need some closure.

On the other hand, we all know The Avengers win.

Not only will they win, they'll basically reverse everything done in Infinity War, making it basically meaningless.

Tony Stark might "die" because they don't want to keep paying RDJ huge money but even that will probably be done in a way where he can be brought back without too much fuss if need be.

GoT is really the only fantasy phenomenon where the story is basically coming to the fans in "real time" since the original trilogy Star Wars.

LOTR you obviously knew the ending well in advance because of the books, Infinity War you have a 25+ year old comic as the back bone, Star Wars prequels we knew where it was going from day 1. Current Star Wars feels like they're just winging it.

I guess Harry Potter too, but Rowling was never going to let any of the real central characters die. I know more or less what will happen in Infinity War, the Avengers will win, they'll reverse "the snap". I can't tell you really what will happen in Game of Thrones.

Who will sit on the Iron Throne? No idea. Will there even be an Iron Throne? No idea.

GoT.

We can be reasonably certain that endgame involves time travel and one or two major characters kicking the bucket. By comparison, I have no idea how GoT will end and that makes it far more exciting.

I could live with never seeing another superhero movie again if I had to so GOT. Even if the quality has gone downhill it will at least look good.

Would rather see Avengers.

Not even a big fan of GoT, even though it has its highs I still dislike a fair number of episodes, however I keep watching because I'm a huge fan of the books, it's a curiosity thing. Overall I wouldn't mind much missing the show's terrible interpretation.

I kind of feel like I'd be okay just receiving a typed plot synopsis of Game of Thrones at this point. I'll probably watch it, but might honestly wait until the entire season's finished or even just skim spoilers in the meantime.

I would like to see Endgame right now, please.

Avengers because MCU films are good, they're progressively getting better (Captain Marvel and Black Panther are the two best stand alone hero films), and it will meaningfully wrap up a coherently developed arc.

The Game of Thrones series, like the books, are trash fantasy snuff books with nonsensical characters and plot. The series production values made it at least entertaining shlock for a few seasons unlike the predictable and boring trash fire the books are straight through, but when the series veered further into that same path it took the predictable trash fire elements to 11. Martin is a hack and the HBO's team pitching a "South won the Civil War" series sounds about right for their brand of fantasy social disaster porn. Its all edge lord bullshit.

Easy choice. I dont trust D&D to deliver a satisfying conclusion to one of the most epic sagas of modern history. It will probably end just like many of us thinks it will
something something almost everyone dies. Jon Snow will have a kid with Daenarys and both die too. The kid will be the new king of a united Westeros bla bla

The Russo brothers on the other hand have delivered so far with every Marvel movie and they are not burned out it seems. So Endgame will hopefully be damn good.

Wasn't this basically showing that Dani is kinda getting like her father and being reckless in the heat of the moment Tyrion was telling her not to go
Tyrion told her not to burn the guys after that event
Tyrion also told her not to go north of the wall and she didn't listen again I think she will turn to the dark side in s8 something will push her over the edge

Anyways it's definitely game of thrones for me. MCU is still continuing after this movie the whole endgame thing is all marketing
