The ironic thing about your point is that the state we're in this climate because POC and LGBT have been subject to this blind eye for years, and now people are fed up with this treatment and will no longer tolerate it. Violence is only okay when white people commit it. The origin of the US is bathed in violence and it's celebrated dearly. Pissy White Men tired of being taxed and spilling blood for it.
That's perfectly okay for some reason. The same people would shit themselves during Nat Turner's revolt. A man who decided enough was enough and took his fate into his own hands just like those Pissy White Men.
