Got Seymour's 35CP on the half-pull.
Otherwise a bunch of people related to the LC got buffed but still no Terra, I guess she can stay useless 2 more weeks. I still don't have MLB both her weapons anyway.

Also, I wish I had Kuja's 35CP to clear those non-boss battles rapidly haha.

So uh..... the lost chapter hard mode new ones have character requirements? Just saw this pointed out in the OO discord

Looks like all LC moving forward will have its character as requirement for hard battles.
The worst is when they'll give T4 crystals as limited quests.

It wasn't too hard but man I hate those 1 wave battles where you have to win in 4 or 5 actions.

Did the half-pull and only got Ace's 15cp.

I was able to complete Sephiroth's EX with Eiko/Lightning/Vincent w/ Friend Sephiroth.

Only got like 30K though, the 3rd wave wastes too many turns if I choose to be conservative with my skills.

Speaking of, I was finally able to get 37K on Sephiroth's EX. After like 15 tries with Lightning/Eiko/Vincent, I was getting close to optimizing how I should be spending my skills in each wave, then after failing several more times, I decided it was time to bring in Sazh to replace Lightning and then it was 2 ez.

Finished all of Sabin's LC just to find out that they somehow expected me to get 42K on his lvl 90 stage and I only got like 36K or something :/

Also got Eiko's 35CP from a ticket on Sephiroth's banner. I think it might be time to give up.

Nice gesture from SE, will decide if they should go to Sephiroth's banner.

I've yet to complete the latest LC and try Lenna's event... barely have time to play.

Lenna EX sounds like a pain, huge defense, filling you with debuff every attack.
Will probably skip (for real this time), it's not too wise to waste ressources like about 15 days before level 60 awakening start coming for us.

I'll probably stock the 6K gems for now since I got Seph's 35cp on a lucky ticket draw. Man, and even with my Seph finally maxed, I still can't clear his EX high scores. I'm stuck at 30K. Those last manikins are so darn tanky. Ramza buffs definitely don't help either.

Haven't started the LCs yet, but I did draw on the banner a few times. Got a bunch of 15cps. Sad face. Hopefully those'll be strong enough to clear the hard mode requirements with the LC characters.

Well then, I used 30 tickets I think (didn't want to go lower than 500 owned) and got Lenna's 35.
But I'm so low on power stone >.<

Lenna EX is really not fun at all. Feels super overtuned unless you have a pretty specific team. The main gimmicks of the dragon just aren't fun from a gameplay perspective. Constant debuffs + high def boss is just a test of patience and frustration. This feels worse than Vanille LC when it was originally released and I was able to complete that one.

It doesn't help that you can get 1 shotted depending on who your team is before you can even get a move in on the dragon. Obviously you can just reboot and hope for a better dice roll but that just shouldn't even be part of the experience. You can make something difficult but fun at the same time. It doesn't have to be either or.

The reddit page for OO is really weird too with how they actively shut down valid critiques about the game, like the price of costumes being $37. I don't know how anyone can defend that practice at all. It's a shame that stuff gets shut down so quickly because there are people who work for SE that actually read that subreddit. I'd love to see their statistics about that price point and how much money they are actually making vs the idea of making it cost $9.99 for a costume.

This is all coming from someone who literally plays the game every single day, leveled all characters, has tons of characters with full MLB, and has completed every event up until now. I've also spent a non-insignificant amount of money on gems during every deal since launch.

I feel like there are some really easy solutions to ensure fun while also trying to make money. As far as I'm aware, this game isn't making crazy bank compared to other F2P games. So there is definitely room for improvement.

Yea it seems like some of the newer content might've been made for post awakening characters instead of the current 50/50.

That was a good cliffhanger, and the series of boss fights at the end was pretty fun, especially the fights with Vayne and Ultima. Can't wait for the next one.

I know I shouldn't be making a fuss about this but RNG it's so frustating (most of the time lol). Used the gems SE gave us and only got 2 Vincent's 15cp which is already mlb.... ugggh.

Finally beat all max scores for Seph's EX this morning. Really wasn't hard with a maxed Seph, Eiko, and Sazh. I think my issue with most of the EXs initially is that I go in so conservative with my skill usage but honestly you can definitely afford to use a few before that last wave.

Started the Lenna event last night. Probably won't pull on her banner but I don't have much in the way of bows so I might rethink that. Her co-op event is ho hum. Seph's was good fun since there was some actual tension to the fight but her's seems more a test of patience to get to the summon round to finish it up.

Finished the Kactuar quest yesterday. I wish there was a way to make the game keep auto-playing over and over without having to go back to the quest screen first. Probably would've made the hunt a bit faster.

So I am back...I think I have a few hours until Seph event goes away right?

I had decided I would just restart since I only had 2 chapters done and didn't really know much about the game. Here some pretty basic questions for anybody .. tagging WarAdept and Madvin_a since they know me on here.

1. So anyway like mentioned before in my initial roll I had gotten a 5* organyx for Cloud and also a 5* for WoL. Then this morning I noticed I had 1000 gems, so did two pulls on that banner. Did get Seph weapon but more about that down below, also got 2 items for Eiko.

Questions:

1. Don't I end up with a bunch of gems if I restart that can be used toward any banner?

2. So I did get that Seph weapon but I saw that 35 cp weapons are a thing. I haven't relearned the game and I remember nothing from release week in January. I don't even remember what CP stands for. So getting the 15 cp masamune was good but not great? I guess like getting a 6* USB vs. a 5* SSB in Record Keeper?

3. For Eiko I got both a 15 cp and a 35 cp. Are those any good? Just asking before I restart. Also are the two 5* I got in January still relevant or have we already powercreeped a lot?

4. Can you go 'one realm' on this game like people did in Record Keeper and although limiting yourself, do just fine with most content? Although it appears that the banners don't do one realm only with this last one throwing in Eiko into Seph and Vincent.

5. Lastly, Genesis when? Lol

I Know you get a free pull (wol, vivi, or rem?), but not sure you get any bonus gems if you restart (like all the launch freebies).

You can get his 15cp by going through his event! Yeah, that's the basic idea. 15 cp would be, say Unique, 35 SSB, 70 (upcoming) USB.

Yes, they are good. She's great in longer drawn out fights, pushing debuffs off, and as a brave battery, `specially bosses weak to holy. She's one of my go to characters for harder content. Most of the launch weps have been power crept.

Yeah, banners tend to be mixed realm, plus, looking at future (hard) content, diversifying a bit isn't a bad idea. Half price and even freebie 5*'s (like a few weeks back) help with this.

I'll do a good bit of reading, but would it be correct to say that Seph's 15 I just got is better due to power creep than the Cloud/WoL 15cp release weapons? Lastly, is there any really good resource or dummies guide similar to Mister P's .pdf?

Seph's kit is miles better right now that what Cloud/WoL has to offer...

That being said, the majority of the cast is about to be powercreeped real bad as we are expecting "Awakenings" very soon (Level 51-60).

As for general data, https://dissidiadb.com/ is an excellent start to learn about what chars are appearing in upcoming banners, all the character weapons passives, multipliers, artifact RNG rolls, etc and you can flick between JP and GL to see what's current and what's coming up.

Right now the AI just do bravery attack until max then HP, or until they have enough to kill an ennemy.
There will be an update where the AI can think if it can kill an ennemy with multiple HP attacks with your other characters and do it before its turn.

Edit: Oh wow, so much to learn. I've never upgraded a weapon, character, summon or anything else in this game. I think i just did all of chapter 1 and most of 2 back in January auto battling and not really paying attention. Oh well, I'll slowly get caught up!

Somebody will probably give you a more detailed breakdown, but I can comment on CP situation. CP is what you use to "equip" passive skills and such, which are really important. So, more CP, the better, usually.



Man, I really barely play the game these days. So much other stuff.

Wanted that Seph gear from the event before it went away last night, and was trying to force cram (and learn) how to level up real quick. Saw the Golden Cactuar thing so did that as much as I could and quickly went from level 1 to 29 with Seph and from 17,14 to high 20's with my other 2, but I simply could not beat the needed battles. I don't have it loaded at the moment, but I think it was 30something, whatever difficulty level that is. I then tried 3 times with a co-op hoping someone would come through and destroy it, but nope, died each time with that too!

Not complaining, I just need to learn the game and level up, at least I got his sword! I also need to unlock Eiko so I can use her gear I got.

Late but congratulations! Always nice to see someone struggling with rng get their weapon after a long battle!

Also, Lenna EX is impossible and quite possibly the hardest fight in the game. I have no way of beating it. Oh well, near 40k gems now so I'm saving big time lol.

Because NT is a mess and should've never been 3v3 in the first place.

This is the true Dissidia sequel you've been looking for.

Also King is hilariously one dimensional and ridiculously effective.

I could never get interested in NT, this one though has been pretty fun.

I'm gonna go back to NT once Yuna is released just to try her out lol. 3 vs 3 was a huge mistake. Also, the starting roster was really weak and not much single player modes. OO's story is even much better too haha.

I don't really mind the 3v3 on NT but the netcode is turrible

3v3 - my team - 1 person from NA, 1 person from Japan & 1 bot that will be running into walls for free kills for the other team lol

I tried the beta and the 3v3 made it too messy. All they had to do was make a game like 012 but in HD.

Anyway, I'm hooked, even the limited events are fun. The Cactuar event boosted my main party up from lvl 18-ish to 25 in a single fight.

Argh I hate the Ace LC so much. I cannot beat the lv 80 or lv 90 quest in the number of turns for a full complete. I've tried using a maxed out Seph/Tidus/Sazh combo and a maxed out Seph/Kuja/Ace combo both with Ifrit summon and absolutely no luck. Tanky, stubborn enemies are the destroyer of fun for me when it comes to this game. Not even gonna bother with Lenna's EX cause I can see exactly where that's going.

EDIT: right after writing this up I tried the lv 80 quest with Seph/Kuja/Sazh and beat it handily. So I might use that combo to beat the lv 90 quest within the turn limits and then go back and beat it a second time with Ace to tick off that requirement.

Well I tried Lenna EX, best I could do is with a revive, net gain is 100 gems and 3 tickets, better than nothing.
And no I'm not MLBing Lenna just for that, I will wait for her EX weapon.

I've read that doing it with a friend Layle might make it a bit more doable if you can get his chase debuff on the turtles

How do I limit break an artifact? It says I need to do it three times to get a passive.

You need to LB 3 4 star artifacts (silver) and get it to level 16.

I really want to pull on Cid's banner because I've got Zell's 15 CP MLB'd and I wouldn't mind having Cid's 35CP too..

but I also want to hoard my gems for Zack's banner in a month or two (or maybe even early if Square wants too (which I hope they don't) )


Anybody pull on Cid's banner? Or the half off?


Also the Halloween Event was pushed up to release this Monday so I think I'll wait to see what's on that before using gems for the Cid banner.

..or maybe I should just wait until the awakenings happen

41k on Cid EX with Seph/Sazh/Lenna 35CP 0LB and Faris friend, I can get the required score for the last mission easily if I play better with the same team.
But I guess we'll get awakening before the end of this event so I'd rather wait for 60 Terra.
