To be completely honest, I expected you to be one of those players grabbing that low hanging fruit.

It's hard to say anything right now about the votes on you. I think it's too early to draw conclusions from it. Some of them feel like they just wanted to vote to appear more active at the start.

On a more serious level, I tend not to put too much stock into early voting on D1, since so much of it usually consists of prods and banter. Personally, I wouldn't say that Nin's early claim was especially train-worthy - it's certainly an early time to make a claim, but it's the kind of claim that anyone could make, so I don't read much from it at this point.

You could take the easy cop out and say you don't know what to make of nin. You can argue either side of pro or contra a lynch.
Yet you sit here, try to look busy. Make a joke and no one will mind? You refuse to play the game. D1 is only awful when people don't play. Time is up.

Anyway, from what I can see, nin's claim kinda came out of nowhere. The game hasn't even started yet and he was already claiming. What was the point?

But what you said is how i feel. No pressure for nin to do what he did, so he wants to be targetted fsr. Maybe hes scum and hopes hiding in plain sight for now saves him for a few days, or maybe hes townie trying to get scum to target him.

I can see the sense in this line of thinking, but it does seem a little blunt of Nin to be trying something like this right out of the gate. Could be a bluff either way, to be honest, so I'm not rushing to jump to conclusions just yet.

Why in the blue hell would scum risk to do that at day one? I could easily have done that claim on D2 or D3.

I don't need to survive, that's the most common mistake people do while playing vanilla. It's not about surviving its about getting the most out of your role. That's what I am doing atm.

Only thing is though if we go too far down the rabbit hole of 'scum wouldn't do that', it could lead us into bad situations later on however I'm still willing to believe what I said yesterday that this is probably some sort of gambit of sorts for nin.
I do feel like maybe there could be scum in amongst the fluffy fun time posts, but then again, it is day 1. It's something to keep an eye on for sure.

Yeah, but that excuse kinds just counts for the early phase of the day.
I for one do not let that slide, since day 1 is the same as day 2 or 3. its a day where someone will be lynched.
