Some questions might work as an icebreaker but i recall thinking the survey was written like it would cause divisions easily.
With the Paul Crocker hiring being recent I don't know if he'll have a big impact on Halo 6, it's been 2 years since 5 shipped.
Well I didn't say it was needed, but like you said, it acted as a nice ice breaker for newer members. I don't think anyone really took those questions seriously enough to cause divisions however.
There is a lore thread already.

Guys here's a great post on r/gamedesign that touches on the importance of individual empowerment in FPS. He touches on the "perception" that Halo 5 is too competitive.
Halo 5 does under serve social play. But, in reality, the culprit is design decisions that also run counter to competitive principles. Neither end of the spectrum is well serviced by this game.

If you registered after the Great Migration in open registration you are technically a Junior, it's just not displayed. Just have to participate and eventually it'll work.
That really is unfortunate to not being able to create a thread just because you're a junior. So I have to wait like 60 days or post 100 messages to create thread to help ResetERA... Don't want to be bad about this place, but that's really a bad idea (I understand mod being afraid of trolls, but come one).
In other places it can be as high as 300 posts. It's not ideal but it weeds out most of the crap.
Well, I just worked like an hour to create a post helping the team create a better design for the forum (like applying my professional skills to this website), talking about contrast ratio, readability and so on, and I find I can't post it before 60 days, or spamming 100 posts (something I truly don't want to).

Thanks for the link! I will end up by creating my own CSS since ResetERA's design is seriously damaging my experience and make me want to leave as soon as possible.

Why Just custom games. We need good, fun vehicle physics in all modes!
I can't imagine Halo 6 Warthogs flipping 50 ft. in the air when ramming into each other lol.
Believe me, people still want to grind. I just don't expect 5 people to carry everyone again.

Halo: Reach's competitive MP is considered the worst in the series, right? If not, it should be. What a terrible game to go back to.
(I should say zero bloom mlg is kinda decent but vanilla... it's a nightmare)

As much as disliked it at the time, I played much, much more Reach multiplayer than 4 and 5 combined (and 3 eclipsed Reach).
I played it quite a bit as well, as a I do every Halo, and the core gameplay of Reach is just painful to revisit, especially after so much of 5.
