Why? If you want to fight Mewtwo, this is how it's going to be. There should be several Park Gyms in your town/city.

The system still has major problems, but it seems that even more parks are opening up. The EX Pass that I just got was from a different park than my previous one.

At this rate, it seems that active players who haven't received an EX pass yet will inevitably be getting one during the next few weeks.

People are catching on and they are amassing in local parks. Check OSM if your gym is designated to a park.

It's a matter of having a place tolerating 40 people showing up to the same spot at the same time. Sponsored stops want you there and parks are public.

I raid during breaks at work at gyms within walking distance and there aren't any sponsored or park gyms around. I'm sure I could find some to drive to in the area, but I'm not really that dedicated to the game.

That's true, but there wouldn't need to be 40 people showing up if they opened up the EX Raids to more gyms and more people.

the gods have smiled upon me and granted me a raid pass for a raid i did just yesterday evening.
my friend got one too, but he'll be in colombia and enlisted me the responsibility of doing his, just after mine, in another gym in the same park

unfortunately, that favour hasn't been extending to kyogre, currently at 0/5

Caught a Cyndaquil and Torchic today plus another Kyogre!

I should probably look up Mewtwo videos as well I'm super anxious for Tuesday

I mean, Mewtwo's not guaranteed because RNG will always be a thing, but he has a very easy pattern and a base catch rate 2-3x higher than the other legendaries. As long as you're always curving and using Golden Razzes, your odds of success are very high.

Had a good day.

Finally got my Smoochum! It was the last non-regional entry I needed for Johto, so I'm very satisfied. Before that one Smoochum, I hatched 9 Togepi, 6 Cleffa, 6 Elekid, 6 Magby, 5 Pichu, 3 Tyrogue, and 2 Igglybuff.

Also caught two Kyogre back to back. Not amazing stats (2270 CP and 2268 CP), but good enough for me. They both came with Waterfall/Hydro Pump, so I'm actually lucky. No need for me to get extra.

Finally ran a Kyogre, and first one is a 96% (15/14/14), continuing my trend of my first encounter of a legendary being very, very high.

Amazing I caught the thing, considering half my throws don't even come close to hitting it.

Caught a kyogre on my fourth try, i can hit it consistently with curve balls in the middle and on the right side. Now I just need to work on hitting the circle.

Caught my Mewtwo with 89% 15/15/10. I'm happy and to celebrate it, I maxed it out.

All that's left is to hit level 40 and I'm on pure cruise controller for PoGo.

Anybody who uses the Go-tcha: There's an update available for it on iOS. Reportedly it runs a lot nicer now. Download the app on the phone, make sure the Go-tcha is charging, then update it via the app. Haven't had a chance to test it yet myself, but the update was super simple to run.

Holy shit. Someone posted about a level 25 Tyranitar on a local Discord. Turned out to be weather boosted, so it was a level 30. Only 78%, but a level 30 Tyranitar is still a level 30 Tyranitar lol. Caught it for both me and my girlfriend, the latter with only seconds to spare. It's her second highest CP Pokémon haha.

Catching a ttar is always a rush. I remember the first time I caught a wild one. Shit IV, decent cp 2500.

I missed out on Groudon so I'm going to try to catch 2 Kyogres. Hopefully if trading is ever implemented, I can trade one of them for a Groudon with someone

New Update! - Breakdown.

Among the update is the scroll to top bug is now fixed, apparently Kyogre is much easier to hit with Pokeball now, as well as all the incubators have been grouped together, so you can now finally get to the free one easily!

The regional sorting of the Pokedex is my favorite life enhacement from this new update. Too sweet.

3 hour period of 2x XP event with special Pikachu with Surf. Stars at 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM PST.

I should get very close to hitting lv 39 with this event. Maybe even hit it.

Got my 1st Kyogre today. The new update REALLY makes a big difference. Makes so much easier to hit, as the radius of the circle is bigger, as well as seems even closer.

Acquired my second shiny today. A Pichu hatched from an egg. Also caught a Kyogre at 2320 CP which is about 98% IV's.
