was super rare games that company that had said they had something like 50 copies of a game left when infact someone checked the source code on the webpage and saw they had only sold 3-400 out of 5000 copies?

Then I stand corrected on that, I'm not familiar with it, but it doesn't change my feeling on Super Rare.

I am neither George nor do I work for super rare but I luckily have the benefit of working inside with U.K. indie labels etc

I just found it's interesting and want to feed the information back to srg to ensure in the future you get a experience you find positive

I'm sadly under nda but super rare have a bright catalog ahead of them (confirmed stuff)

In honesty I've never been able to get my head around Twitter

By the way, Strictly Limited Games sure like to take its time shipping the games, I just got a shipping confirmation for Bunny Must Die.

Strictly Limited Games actually did that, much worse than Super Rare Games. They name-called LRG on their very first PR piece.

Do you have a link to the Strictly Limited Games PR piece? I don't really remember that incident and am quite surprised since I've always considered them to be one of the most professional publishers out there.

It was at Gamasutra at one point, even the LRG account mentioned that on Twitter. It was something like "move over Limited Run Games, now there's a new publisher that can not only talk the talk, but also walk the walk".

Hey guys, I'd be willing to bet some people in this thread have purchased from Play Asia. I never have. I noticed that they mandate that someone signs for a package shipped by them. What happens if no one is home? Not any way to opt out of the signing bit is there? Just seems like an inconvenience, I've never bought anything from them and was wondering how it went.

If you are in the US you can pick it up at your local post office

Well, if I may:

Announcing a new release 24 to 48 hours before the sale is bad enough. Doing so ON THE SAME DAY almost feels like an insult. How insecure can you be about your own product? I have a family and a life outside of gaming so I usually need advance notice for selling dates; I decided against "Shelter Generations" to make a statement in this vein, although the game does look neat. But like this...no thank you.

Another thing that kind of irritates me is that those other companies try to get on a personal level....we know the names of the people doind this. With SRG, this is the first time I've heard about a George....but maybe that's just me as I don't follow social media. So you can probably disregard that.

srg = special reserve games, though ;)

Speaking of which, I just received Ruiner + its artbook, and the packaging is commendable. One fitting small cardboard box (with a wood-like skin) for a single game, it's absolutely perfect <3
The artbook itself is dope. One gripe I have with it is that it kinda leaves no doubt that the game has been designed by a brotherhood of horny dudes as every. single . female. has a huge rack and eather a plunging cleavage or a tight suit ; even zombies. I find it detrimental to the whole artstyle which is good otherwise. I don't wanna start a debate, it's just my opinion :p

Chicken Range seems to have been canceled physically for Vita.
No longer on Amazon via search, and the publisher site now reads "digital only".

Don't take this one too hard guys.

I'm strangely disappointed by this news. I know the game was going to be terrible but I was really looking forward to finishing the Funbox Trash Trilogy. Is it probably the first known casualty of the cartridge manufacturing deadline?

Persona 3 & 5 Dancing also cited the end of production as why they weren't getting physical (not sure how true it is given it would've been a retail release in 2019).

I never buy digital but I may make an exception for Aggelos. Holy shit this looks nice. Yes "inspired" by Wonder Boy but I'm seeing a lot of Falcom in this, namely Popful Mail. The "publisher" (digital-only so far) is PQube so could there be a chance for a disc release? I sure hope so.

Nah, I emailed Funbox (they're always very responsive) and they simply stated the demand wasn't there so they cancelled it. They said sorry to Vita fans.

I too strangely really wanted this one as well haha.

Hmm, I'm sure early 2019 games could've gotten physical prints if publishers wanted to.

Yeah. Atlus could have submitted the paperwork for them in time if they wanted to.

This looks really good. I might bite. I'd even double dip if the Switch version gets a physical version.

it's funny a comment like this coming from a company that printed only 2010 copies of the last game they did uhhh was it the vegas one?
