Also, does anyone have a Mr. Mime or Khangaskang? I'm missing three Pokémon for the Kanto Dex. Mewtwo being the last. I don't have anything I can trade for a Mewtwo though. Lol..

So my observations so far

A) you can only have 5 gifts in your inventory
B) you can only get 4 7km eggs (a day?) from gifts
(Got one from my first 4 gifts, got none from the other 5. And yes I had free egg space)

Anyone made the same observations as well?

Unless they changed things, I'm holding onto 8 7k eggs right now. All from yesterday.

Also, I have gained 100 ultra balls and like 40+ max revives lol

The max revives are awesome. I just had to throw out a ton of regular revives to make space for all the presents. Hoping to get all 50 of my friends a gift today.

Also can't wait for Alohan Raichi since that one's my favorite.

Know that feeling lol. I only need 2 Vulpix for him and Ninetails and I'll be over the alolans eggs for now. Have everything else. Noticed they haven't updated the background stories for alolan forms of these yet.

I guess maybe to keep low level players from getting high CP Pokémon?i don't know a reason why for the cap either.


Do trades Pokémon in Go keep their nicknames? I'm curious. I'm doing my first Go trade later today.

Yep they do keep their name. Saw some trades go down on live streams yesterday.

Definitely only able to hold 5 at a time . As for the eggs I'm not sure yet . Obtained 2 when I had space for 2 eggs.

Right on .Back when the game first came out incubators were the only thing I felt I needed to spend money on. I'm getting that itch again .

I'm sure another event box will happen soon. I bet Niantic has another event going by this time next week. Incubating special eggs will lose their luster once you collect all the alolans available. They could release more soon though I guess like alolan dugtrio.

Add some friends! :)

After you do so, you can send those gifts (from the Friends Screen) to them.

Definitely some bugs and glitches on this Friends thing. It even showed me the Alolan mon I would get from a gift before I had even opened the gift. lol

Ok.. I finally caught up to everyone who friended me with gifts. Thanks to all who sent me gifts also.

Sucks we can only hold 5 gifts at one time as I'm looking to try and send out gifts daily and I'm not THAT active.

I've created a spreadsheet for people to add their Trainer Codes. This will keep the thread from getting cluttered up with codes, while providing a reference for matching in-game usernames to our ResetEra usernames. I've also added a column for putting your general location, because who doesn't want to add Pokemon from other parts of the world to their collection?
