i was sitting in the crowd but didnt see what happened to mitch at the end of world 8. did poo hit mitchs console?
He said all he did was drop his controller on the ground. Per him (and Mitch) Mitch's console was 6 feet away.
Just bad luck there.
The Japanese top loader actually has composite input unlike the American one which only has RF, so the video quality of that one may be the same as the original console.
I am actually considering importing a Japanese one. (But I don't know how much they cost.) Pretty sure you can just use an adapter to play American games.
I thought the Zelda 1 and SMB 1 races were good. SMB3 race was great just because of the drama. Sylvan Tale was good, imo. Someone else said the Shadow Warrior run was good. The Castlevania runs were great and everyone said the Sonic runs were as well.
Twitch chat is pretty toxic during this run.

I really enjoy MK runs because it's all about mitigating stuff that's out of your control. That was a really fun run.
It's always nice to hear someone talk like that about the gaming community, given how toxic it has become at times.
It was a good run, for sure. But it was just playing MK8 well, nothing "special".
Yeah I think it's a testament to the MK8 programmers that it hasn't been effectively broken. Or maybe I just have low expectations after all the ridiculous MK64 skips.

Its where you use the xray scope to glitch out of bounds and skip straight to the final boss.
Ever sillier than that. The x-ray scope of course raises your item percentage to 1%, and you need other items to get it. So you have to hit certain blocks out of bounds that mess with your completion percentage, so the game says you have 0% when you beat it. And I don't think the route sees any bosses, though I'll admit to not having watched one all the way through.
It really, really is. Even the multiplayer was super fun I thought.
