9-1-1 was really good though I was sold because the spunky firefighter is hot and pretty awesome. Much better than I expected.
Nah, people just really like Ellen.

X-Files is tepid, and 9-1-1 surprisingly did better than it.
Im going to watch but it basically did for me.That's terrible for The X-Files. I guess season ten being so awful killed it for a lot of people.

And no one will care because Netflix will make a customised show for literally every single one of their subscribers.
Call me when they do "CW casting meets Lost".
To the surprise of no one, HBO confirmed Game of Thrones won't return until 2019.
Would be nice if Runaways was officially picked up. I enjoy watching it with the girlfriend despite a good amount of weird plotting.
The final season of The New Girl premieres April 10th

Someone at Fox may have thought that Disney would like the show to keep going for some reason. How did the gifted get renewed? Not complaining, mind you, but the ratings weren't good.

The show is already a co-production between Marvel and Fox. I wouldn't be surprised if someone wanted to keep it going for some reason or another from the Marvel side.

I mean, Jim Chory and Jeph Loeb are EPs on them just like the other Marvel shows. But I'm not too sure of the extent of their involvement either.I don't think Marvel Television has more than nominal involvement with either Legion or Gifted, tbh.
That's dire. It's been the 12th highest rated scripted show on Fox this season out of 18 shows. That's apparently good enough to get renewed (after all, they can't cancel half their shows and do an effective job marketing half a schedule's worth of new shows next season).

My thoughts exactly. No surprise with Gifted. It's not bad, I'll take another season.
Me either, I dropped it a while back.
It started out the exact opposite of its typical "America fuck yeah" nature, the team breaks into a Middle Eastern family's house.
I just checked out Grown-ish to see what it's like and they definitely took advantage of the Freeform platform. I really didn't see it coming and t's really interesting to see how they grow the MC. I would say they succeed in taking the concept of Black-ish and applying it to growing up. The show needs more Deon Cole, but it would probably be difficult to do so with him also still on Black-ish.
Unless I misinterpreted the last scene it seems like she already has a drug addiction two episodes in.

the entire time its from a separate perspective that doesn't show the Seal Team in light, making them look like bad guys or something.
Even the goofy Southern guy comes off as an asshole
The father of the family hears noise and goes to check it out with an AK.
One of the Seals goes to shoot him and the guys daughter came running between and accidentally gets shot
camera zooms in and reveals that it was Clay (the new recruit)
Seals are tearing the house apart looking for a phone directly connected to a terrorist attack that killed like 40 Americans.
David Boreanaz has a speach with Clay about how he "did the right thing"
Seals continue to interrogate the family as the medic works on the daughter.
A new douchebag General orders the team not to leave until they have exactly what he ordered.
show is constantly asking if that is even the right location.
Seals say they won't take the daughter to the hospital till they get the phone.
the young son knows where it is and gets it so they will take his sister to the hospital, mother claims it was her and to arrest her and take the daughter to the hospital.
The mother and others couldn't actually unlock the phone and it turns out.....
the daughter was the terrorist
They call for extraction and leave as the camera focuses on the family, tears start to run down the father's face.
tone was just so weird for this show particularly, normally that uncomfortable murky area is an interesting direction but it was very jarring here.
Disney will cancel everything Ryan Murphy makes except for American Horror Story and American Crime Story. OR... Disney could actually make Ryan Murphy the new Shonda Rimes (ABC is dominated with Shonda Rimes shows and more and more are added every single year but Shonda is leaving them soon for Netflix so maybe Ryan Murphy can carry the torch?). I mean Disney will own all of Fox TV studio's IPs and could decide to make them Hulu originals or put them on ABC. And they will also own FX so they could put more of his shows on there too.Fox + FX are going to be nothing but Ryan Murphy shows.
CW nothing but Berlanti shows.
And no one will care because Netflix will make a customised show for literally every single one of their subscribers.
WHAT?! Hm, gonna have to try and check out the episodes on my DVR sooner than later

I actually liked it so this sucks.
Sounds pretty interesting. I'm really looking forward to itI didn't have high expectations for it, but it turned out really good. It honestly felt a like the same tone as black-ish, except through the lens of a freshman.

You could say that about almost everything Adalian writes.
I kinda agree(while technically weird for this show), then at least you have a clear message that is sadly based in some truth. They wouldn't have done it, but I would have rather seen them basically be wrong but still take the girl anyway because they didn't want to seem like they picked the wrong house.
