What's the difference in playing any video game by yourself?I just don't find VR very appealing. I don't want to think about a future where your on your own in a room playing VR by yourself
The point is always escapism.

Wario64 tweeted a summary of Black Friday deals. PS4 1 TB (!) will be available for $199 across the board. Yet without bundled games.

Here, BC on PS5 will (would) make things much easier for them and the consumer, though encurring a potential loss in extra revenue for publishers who won't get to sell their game twice.
MS's work on BC is great, no doubt about that, but count on your PS4 games working on the PS5 (and being improved).
With Horizon! Do something with Crash as well.
Here's my reasoning for 2020 over 2019 for a PS5:
1. the entire point of the PS4 Pro was to allow them to stretch the gen again, even though people said Gen 7 lasted too long.
2. The performance boost that extra year would make is worth waiting for
3. The PS4 is selling better than they could have ever imagined, they surely have forecasted far enough to know they will surpass PS1 & Wii sales, the latter being the console they chased last gen
4. They are still developing new games and surely are in the know on 3rd party games releasing in 2019 (not that that would stop a release as we saw in 2013 but it still gives them an extra year of cushion)
5. They don't have to worry about MS beating them to market in 2019, unless MS is crazy enough to release a new box 2 years after the One X
6. 2020 is the 20th anniversary of the PS2 and they can play that up very well in marketing
7. (bonus) the extra year gives them extra time to prepare a new VR headset for 2021 which lets them continue to sell the v1 headset at cheaper prices and raise VR adoption in the mean time.

Pretty sure that SKU will be discounted for the rest of the holiday season as well ($249).
