Yeah it's day 1 and I am OVER fishing up eggsFishing really is annoying right now, my fiancée had far more fish than eggs from water but I fished out about 20 eggs and 1 fish so I just sort of stopped trying. Also I can't not read everything Zipper says in the Mad Hatter's voice.
It's meant to be played in short bursts over years. People just have a lot of time right now. What do I do wrong?
It's so cumbersome. Tom Nook is talking forever and the Island is a wasteland.
I get why people with too much time could dig into, but how can it be fun for a gamer?
The easter event accentuates everything I don't like about this entry.
"COLLECT EVERYTHING, you'll enjoy it!"
Uh, no. Just let me play something that relaxes me.
"If you do it YOU CAN CRAFT MORE STUFF".
Okay, but I don't want to.
Okay, great, now there are eggs instead of regular fish and regular materials sometimes. Do X thing Y times, the game.
I found one in a bottle, and had a villager give me one. I thought up two outfit recipes after collecting eggs.Is there another way to get recipes other than through flying balloons?
I read that it's takes a lot of time and effort to make them go away. Also, I've seen twitter caps of sad villagers after getting bullied by you, and I legit felt bad lol.If you don't like 'em just ignore them. Are you really gonna interact with all the villagers every day anyways?
Do the villagers do anything in this game? They used to have requests for you or play games, and now they just sort of exist and give me recipes and emotes on occasion.
They still make requests and play games.Do the villagers do anything in this game? They used to have requests for you or play games, and now they just sort of exist and give me recipes and emotes on occasion.

I read each type of egg gives you outfit recipes after a certain amount, and also bottles, balloons, and talking to villagers.
They still have requests. I found that they began to feel more alive and talk to each others the more of them they were living in my island, for some reasonDo the villagers do anything in this game? They have asked me to deliver things, catch bugs or fish, find lost items, etc. It's just not something your can directly request anymore.Do the villagers do anything in this game? Yes, they gave me several side-quests. I also played some sort of treasure hunt mini-game with Ribbot.Do the villagers do anything in this game? They used to have requests for you or play games, and now they just sort of exist and give me recipes and emotes on occasion.
I'm very picky with my next villagers. I legit burned through 5 nook tickets yesterday just to get a villager to my liking.
Now that people are saying that random villagers can move to the building plots, I'm getting very anxious. Shouldn't have put all these building lots in advance.
Add 8 AM to the list too and I'm with you.
wheres the bloke that made 1.8 million yesterday.
that's seriously impressive!!
I'm not ingane atm but will get back to you when I amposting again for the new thread. Does anyone know what song this is? is it a K.K. tune?

This season's new Stringfish and Char are the Surgeonfish and Butterfly Fish, enjoy the 99.99% chance of finding a Horse Mackerel instead.
I have literally never been able to get an 8th chip / mineral / whatever out of a rock.
I'm using the two-hole method (snigger) and I'll generally always get 7, but the patch I'm standing on never gets an 8th.
I assume I'm doing this wrong?
Placed down some plots and visited a mystery island and saw this ABOMINATION
No no no no no you are not coming onto my island Al
A random villager moved into my island never asked for? Who is this APPLE?!?!
Yes, he really did grow on me
in my nightmares
But its' okay, because I went on another trip and found a non-native fruit AND found Tom; I know he's cranky but I need variety plus he's pretty cute
I sacrified Al for the greater good
I am very lucky then. I've caught multiple of each today! This season's new Stringfish and Char are the Surgeonfish and Butterfly Fish, enjoy the 99.99% chance of finding a Horse Mackerel instead.
