Its just really hard for me not to find that level of patheticness and desperation amusing on some level.

But yeah, they're also kind of super creeps.
Try watching them now. They showed some of the old Loony Toons shorts at a local theater a few years ago. You'd be surprised just how horribly they hold up, especially the Pepe shorts.Oh god, I remember Pepe Le Pew now.
That made me uncomfortable even when I was a little kid.
Mineta is an invaluable [immeasurable value] member of the cast and it warms my heart to see him get some love.Is it a bad sign if I still laugh at characters like Master Roshi and Mineta (from My Hero Academia) in 2018?
Dimension W. Entertaining premise, but except for one character the show is bad. Don't watch it for her, as she is a side character that barely get any scenes.
Its sad the light novels were on a multi year hiatus.Black Bullet ep.9-END
WTF was that? What was any of that ending? I want my time back, I want ALL my wasted time back. That was just damn af for an ending...
megaloboxing will die. very deep. You know Megalo Box has been dropping so many death flags with every title and end card having the word dead and Ashita no Joe having on of the most famous death scenes in Anime I can see them pulling a swerve and having Joe live since no one would expect it.

More Yowamushi Pedal anime when?!??!?!?!?!?
Also guess I was the only one that finished Glory Line here.
It's weird how the Captain Tsubasa remake was moving slower than the original at first and is now blowing past it. I can't remember the original too well, but they must be cutting out a bunch of filler in the tournament matches.
Yeah, but the remake was actually slower until around the Misaki episode and then it sped up a lot. Either that or the original slowed down around that point lol.
Always liked how in the original they run forever, like they are running miles through a small green planet and not playing football lolYeah, but the remake was actually slower until around the Misaki episode and then it sped up a lot. Either that or the original slowed down around that point lol.
Watched the whole show and didn't even recognize her.Dimension W. Entertaining premise, but except for one character the show is bad. Don't watch it for her, as she is a side character that barely get any scenes.
Heh
I remember Clannad coming out at the time of the start of Moe everything in shows. However, it did avoid those traps by having characters with lives and are somewhat likable personalities. I think the major problem Clannad has is that certain parts have pacing issues, cuting a few character's story for what episode they are able to produce at the time.Clannad 1

Special effects and sound design can go a long way. To me, a standout quality of Key works have always been the music and its use. Many tracks seem crafted to portray a fleeting and fragile feeling with faint hope. The character designs, however, are gaudy but I hope I can come around to appreciate their merits (they're pretty jarring). I've actually seen Clannad before and a bit of After Story, but it was long ago and I don't remember much, besides the key details to some arcs. I found Youhei funny when I was younger, but I could do without his antics this time around. Akio is at least still entertaining enough.
Plenty of attention is given to the environment resulting in a pleasantly organic and interactive atmosphere. However, Key characters seem to be heavily limited by their locale and its rules usually. These characters live in small world with strongly established routines and interweaving. Their world has this impending influence over them that can feel quite overbearing and almost contrived; they seem built to either shelter or cage them. This allows for the protagonist to serve the purpose of rectifying the constrictive character settings, gaining the subject's favor in the process. All in all, the creator seems stuck on external or set inhibitions, favoring to protect his or her characters through the intervention of a surrogate (the protagonist) rather than empower them through their own means.
That said, the behavior of a couple of these heroines sure is "unique." They're exaggerated in strange ways. I wouldn't go as far as to call it infantile, but there is definitely a strong child-like quality exhibited by some of the girls' characters, appearances aside. All the key elements here seem meant to tug at heartstrings—some would argue to point of overreaching manipulation. Still, even if I didn't know this was based on a visual novel, I'd say it definitely feels that way. The monologues are well-integrated but still feels intrusive overall. From the transitions to the dialogue, everything feels noticeably structured in segmented chunks, or scenes. I'm going to try to power through to After Story now.

Nearing the end of MHA season two now.
Villians wanting to join up with the league becuase of Stain doesn't really make any sense but it'll be entertaining enough when he breaks out and starts killing them to their idiotic surprise.
Having never watched the original, I'm quite happy to report that I went until the day of the finale until someone spoiled me on this. Yay.You know Megalo Box has been dropping so many death flags with every title and end card having the word dead and Ashita no Joe having one of the most famous death scenes in Anime I can see them pulling a swerve and having Joe live since no one would expect it.
how doesn't it make sense?
Everyone assumed Stain was part of the League. They took advantage of it and were like "oh yeah he was part of it, want to join?"

:(
And yet I almost made it until the end. So close.Would be hard pressed to find a more iconic anime moment that isn't from Dragon Ball, Evangelion or Gundam 0079
I don't know about you guys but I kind of wish I had stopped watching after the first inter-high. I kept going and now I feel like I'm on the hook to finish, even if I won't be satisfied with where it goes.I will finish it today with my buddy. What Was once a cool bicycle anime at the begining is now just... God why did we Start this series back then. This season was weak too imo.
When is the next one? Manga hasnt finished this interhigh yet hmm
