Speaking of laughing at bits from Chainsaw Man, and I the only one who just burst out laughing the first time they saw this sequence of panels?
Just something about this is so funny to me even now
"No U"

Fuck it got me
It was a fake quote from Fujimoto that said something like "I wish foreign fans would stop making weird barking noises"
Yeah
Oh wait that is an actual possibility, huh?
We're probably getting a minute or more of anime footage though. It's also possible we get VA announcements.
Gianni Matragrano? Holy shit that would be amazing. If we're going to wildly speculate, I'd love to see a Twitter-famous VA as Denji for the eventual dub. Someone like Gianni Matragrano who has internet brain would understand the tone of Fujimoto's writing better than a seasoned shonen hero VA who's like 45.
Not for me personally! Looking forward to seeing the general reception more tbh. We're probably getting a minute or more of anime footage though. It's also possible we get VA announcements.
That's not worth getting hyped for?
A dude with chainsaws for limbs and head riding a fucking spidershark into battle is one panel that sums up what Chainsaw Man is all about.Still on my reread, Denji (and Beam!) vs. the Bomb Devil is still fucking amazing, that is all

I assume Fujimoto had a much smaller staff than most "big" series for his previous works, so that's probably most of them right there.Do we know who Fujimoto worked as an assistant for in his early days?
I'm just curious to see if there's a "lineage" to be traced from that mangaka to Fujimoto to his assistants (Jigokuraku, SpyxFamily, Dandadan).

Notes/extra pages in tankobon are often where we find out about assistants but Fujimoto is really brief and weird about those and his creative process in general, so there's not much information on his assistants to be found.
As far as we know he wrote oneshot for living before Fire Punch. At these points, I assumed he never worked as an assistant bofore. But do we know who Fujimoto worked as an assistant for before Fire Punch?
Kinda. If the anime ends up using the same animation team that does the preview, it could be indicative of the style they want to go for.So about as informative as a cinematic trailer for a video game lol
We have some news about the preview. It'll be done by the JJK staff, and it'll be preanimated, which means that it's animation for the preview specifically, and not taken from the anime itself.
ehh the final season of Aot's first trailer was preanimated and it basically looks the exact same.So about as informative as a cinematic trailer for a video game lol
Early tomorrow.
So a nice little live stream with lofi for music has been going on for hours now. Nothing has happened yet, but at Midnight JPT, we're supposed to hear comments from a band called Zutomayo
Regardless, Zutomayo is probably doing the OP or something.
COVID. hard to get a lot of manga these daysHow is this series already out of print only got the first book and now that I have time to read them I can't get the rest.
