I see it now. Sorry!
PS4 Pro and X1X have a 4K mode FWIW. Base versions are 1080p but that's not surprising, the original game was 720p and had trouble hitting it's 30fps max frame rate.
Play it.I can't decide on whether to pick this up or not. I keep flip-flopping. I played this back when it first launched on consoles and had a lot of fun with it. Played about 180 hours or so, never went back to it after a few playthroughs. I never played the Artorias DLC as that came out after I was done.

It's $39.99.I flip flopped for a bit and ultimately decided on a pass. Even without playing artorias, 60$ is a tall order for marginal improvements and some dlc. If you're deadset, I'd say just pick up the dlc and play on the original.
I have to assume that XB's mp community will be alive and well and you won't be hurting for assistance or invasions. It'll be kicking on all platforms.I like multiplayer for bosses basically, not really into PVP for the most part
Tough call on which one to go for

I'm genuinely tempted, but I have Detroit coming out this week anyway.I flip flopped for a bit and ultimately decided on a pass. Even without playing artorias, 60$ is a tall order for marginal improvements and some dlc. If you're deadset, I'd say just pick up the dlc and play on the original.

lolRight. Brain fart. Still, artorias is what, 15?
Depends I guess if you care about multiplayer which I don't, so that plays a factor.
Get something new and fresh instead of 40 for slightly better graphics and dlc. Go for Detroit.
I'm a huge dark souls fan and the thought of buying this hasn't crossed my mind once.
I think most people consider Artorias to be the best boss in the entire series.I can't decide on whether to pick this up or not. I keep flip-flopping. no. from the description it sounds like its just going to be released on steam on the day of release.

yeah i get you, it's a pretty underwhelming releaseHeh. Walterwhite.yougotme.gif.
Lol, worded poorly. I just never had to talk myself out of buying it really.
I wouldn't fault anyone who does buy it regardless. Game is amazing.
Why not both? (;I'm torn between picking this up (played it for hundreds of hours on both 360 and ps3) or the complete edition of DS3 (which I haven't played yet (but I've heard mixed things about).
Dark Souls 3 is a great game.I'm torn between picking this up (played it for hundreds of hours on both 360 and ps3) or the complete edition of DS3 (which I haven't played yet (but I've heard mixed things about).

Personally I would pick up Dark Souls 1 because the player base will be massive and super nostalgic. Dark Souls 3 is also amazing but this is Dark Souls 1 with another chance and it's polished af.

Does anyone know if DSR will have a separate achievement list from the 360 version?
Pretty excited for this. Played Bloodborne last month, my first Soulsborne game, and it easily skyrocketed to one of the best games I've ever played.
At a glance, Dark Souls doesn't look as interesting, as the setting is nowhere near as appealing to me. But I have faith in the devs and also the legacy this game has, I'm sure it's great
Item drops have not been changed lol.I hope they didn't change covenant items drop rate. They were pretty generous in DkS1 after patches.
Also hoped for Aged-Feather-like item.
Praise the Sun!
Oh I thought you were asking if QLOC made changes lol.
This shouldn't even be a question, buy DS3.I'm torn between picking this up (played it for hundreds of hours on both 360 and ps3) or the complete edition of DS3 (which I haven't played yet (but I've heard mixed things about).

What do you think Scholar of the First Sin is? It's a remaster.Damn. I thought this contains DS & DS II. It just contains the first part. So do I wait for a remaster of II, or just biy it from the store?
