I can only imagine your pain. I have a reasonable cable connection, but my son and daughter have recently discovered YouTube and all of a sudden I'm hitting data caps that I never knew existed.š
Is it really the same thing when this has been a thing for PS4, XBO for awhile...and many assumed games would fit entirely on the cartridge for the Switch.
Imagine getting a console that uses cartridges but you still have to download data to play the game.
And Switch games can use bigger carts but aren't. For whatever reason.
We don't even know if it will be a partial download yet so 'ridicule' is premature regardless.
Well I'll be! Epic really did a wonderful job with UE4 if it's being used for everything from Days Gone, indie Metroidvanias like Bloodstained, and even the king of traditional JRPGs Dragon Quest XI.
Blu-ray actually goes all the way up to six layers, but compatibility on consumer-grade hardware is very limited and if I'm not mistaken, non-existent on the PS4 altogether.
Really? To my knowledge, the game is entirely on the disc. All you have to do is install from the disc, and play it. Nothing is missing. There is a patch, but it's not required, to play.
If this is not the title of the OP. WHOO BOY, I'm gona be pissed
No, I just know what it's like when something like this takes you offline for a day+, it's shit. At least it's seems the Disc doesn't require a massive download too (that shit can just fuck off and shouldn't be acceptable day 1).I feel like some of you complain just to complain tbh. There is no way this many people in 2019 in a forum that is typically technological people have bandwidth issues. I haven't had any issues with internet speed or bandwidth for literally 5+ years now and I don't live in a huge city.
If you want, i'm sure that you can put over 750 hours into the game =) I dont know if this game is build around grinding like Monster Hunter World though.I put over 150+ hours into Monster Hunter World. Will this have over 750 hours of playtime?
Most games are well under this size, we're nowhere near last gen situation dealing with 6Gb DVD limits.Sony decided to not support 4K Blu-ray's so we're gimped and therefore gimping the rest of the generation for both platforms.

My roommate loves YouTube, so it makes it more difficult to download games or patches. Their 'addiction' just started recently. The last game I downloaded took a couple or few hours longer because of it.
Nah, its not a Sony thing. No one supported BlurayXL (100GB discs) at the begining of the generation, thats why 50GB discs are still used. 4K Bluray (or UHD Bluray) specifications were finalized in 2015 i think. Thats why Xbox One S (released in later 2016) added 4K Bluray support. But later support like that wont be the standard, because they need to make sure that all systems can read the games.Sony decided to not support 4K Blu-ray's so we're gimped and therefore gimping the rest of the generation for both platforms.

It's not? What a shame. Guess I'll skip it, then.If you want, i'm sure that you can put over 750 hours into the game =) I dont know if this game is build around grinding like Monster Hunter World though.
Less than one buck per GB, that's good value.
How big is GT Sport currently?

the size of the games is really becoming a huge burden to data limits and is delaying the all digital future.
I mainly meant for myself personally. No that's the poor infrastructure and data caps delaying the all digital future, not big games
"Day Gone Be Good" is the chose one (for me). And I will profusely interject if it isn't.
Deeply amusing seeing the posts that are passing on it entirely because of the download size. First time I've ever heard of such a complain in this board.
Thats just my impression, i could be wrong. Just wondering, what makes you think that the game revolves around grinding for stuff? And what stuff would you be grinding for?
Days Gone isn't their biggest game. MLB The Show 19 is 72.11 GB.
