They even tucked the shirt into the shorts. Who does this other than maybe Steve Urkel, lol.
Seriously, how are you guys going to thank me, for going on this months long crusade for navels for you?
These are lies. Repent your sins.Bayman's really insecure about taking his shirt off in the pool, that's why he always wore a scuba suit. I thought he just liked scuba but the truth's come out.
I can when I get home, but thats not for 6 hoursCan someone who is playing the deluxe demo on PS4 Pro take a look at the differences of performance mode and graphics mode please? I'd really like to know if there are even any visual improvements when you compromise on framerate. Resolution they say stays 1080p, but then I expect some other visual improvements.
I'm kind of mad Hayabusa doesn't have a crazy mask on. And where's the face paint? I thought this was wrestling! lol
Hayabusa actually looks handsome without a mask for a change. He didn't look too hot without it the previous game.
Huh, that's interesting, there's a Graphics/Performance option on base PS4 as well.
I've played a couple of matches online and only won one, I'm super rusty. Good to see they fixed navels for DLC outfits but... the issue is still there for the standard ones :P
Well, did you try out graphics mode to see what it actually improves?
The old models they will probably not fix, but at least all models going forward... Still shaking my head why this even happened in the first place. As a character artist it should part of your job to know basic anatomy. As a human being you should know humans usually come with navels, lol.
Unfortunately due to lack of time I had to cut my play session short, but I can try in about 1h and take screenshots to compare
Looks like Graphics mode on base PS4 is a resolution boost + maybe better texture filtering? (looking at it it's probably due to the increased resolution rather than actual additional samples though)
Action 1 Graphics 1
Action 2 Graphics 2
Action 3 Graphics 3
Performance doesn't feel that great in Graphics mode, Action mode is definitely recommended unless you only want to take prettier screenshots :P
I've made this same observation at the old forum but specific to SFV and people dogpiled on me for it. The GB dudes barely know the basics of fighting games. As much as I love Giantbomb, it has always annoyed me slightly how they have so little understanding or care for how the DOA games work. Jeff/Jason for being such big fighting game fans have no understanding of even basic concepts, such as a rising attack, its disappointing
Even Eliot's wrestling gear isn't skimpy or sexy enough :( I am not happy with Eliot's lack of a fan service alternate costume.
The Giant Bomb crew were the ones that invented frame data, you dare question their competence?I've made this same observation at the old forum but specific to SFV and people dogpiled on me for it. The GB dudes barely know the basics of fighting games.
They stopped including that on their social media posts, so....Well the deluxe demo description clearly states online lobbies will be available, but they are greyed out when I try to use them. Has anybody heard anything about that? Downloaded this to see how online works with my friends but no dice if this thing only allows ranked fights.
Pretty sure that outfit will be in with her other default costumes, not separate.
For tag, really doubt it considering what they've said multiple times. Will likely be in the PS5/X4 version though.
That's why I'm saying masks and face paint would've been the way to go.The male ones look a bit of variety, but it's the same issue for pro wrestlers in the real world sadly.
That "scientific ranking of fighting games" thread made it abundantly clear how this forum also reacts to anyone who dares to criticize Giant Bomb (or even just not find them all that funny).I've made this same observation at the old forum but specific to SFV and people dogpiled on me for it. The GB dudes barely know the basics of fighting games.
You need me to explain what's wrong with infinites?Maybe explain what we're looking at here? Looks to me like a juggle with some cancels doing normal juggle damage.
Tina's 41236T has a 16 frame startup; meaning it's impossible to high-counter throw someone on reaction to a whiffed counter, it has to have been a hard read/prediction. In that instance, a grappler absolutely deserves to be rewarded. So what am I missing that rebukes my claim that throws are strong in this game?
