Not every wwe released wrestler is going to aew. I don't know where this thinking come from. AEW tag division is already stacked and aew as a whole is not great when it comes to talent build with their much smaller roster.

So uh... for those not watching this GCW show some major spoilers below.
-So earlier in the night RSP gave Gage the title back and Gage said he could have a match anytime anywhere.
- Gage vs. AJ Gray has some interference from Page's lackeys. AJ fights them off then beats Gage for the belt.
- AJ makes a speech crowd is happy for him. Then Page attcks and becasue Gage said he had a title shot anytime anywhere he fights AJ for the belt then wins.

But his defeat was longer than 8 secs, so he wasn't completely jobbed out kofi style.
He is like Penta, a broken down young wrestler that found a way to continue his craft without dying and getting really over.
So I do not like them as wrestlers, but can not hate making money in the business without killing themselves.
Some great matches and a couple of duds. Title match falls into the latter due to how short it was, never really felt like it got started.
I only recently found out his body was broken down. It was just wild to me how little he developed between his time in progress and then in roh/njpw. It makes sense now, but he's still just always a guy in the ring to me. I'll still get a yell over the chicken wing.
They had no real competition in NXT but got over anyway then Vince had JBL bury them on their Smackdown debut even though they were heels. They didn't have a chance.
