Heh I'm gonna tweet that to Dana White, hopefully he'll revoke EA's UFC license.
If the sack of cash is big enough he will shill it.Connor mcgregor needs to pull a disney and throw some water on this before it goes full dumpster fire.
Nah it's just god testing him bro.Paying for a physical boost in a UFC match is nothing knew, Jon Jones did it for years.
This is my take (and hope) as well. They deserve to be raked over the coals for this garbage.I'd normally agree because sites generally don't care about what happens with sports games or racers, but I think this is different because it's EA. They now have not only the industries eyes on them, but various governments as well. Their biggest mistake was putting that style of microtransation in one of the biggest entertainment IP's in history. Had they just plugged it into the likes of NFS or UFC then it would've likely allowed them to continue to fly under the radar.
Hey what a great ideaSeriously moves etc in a fighting game tied to mtx ? Really ?
Whats next ? Pay for gas in the next NFS ?
This is honestly so cartoonish that I legitimately thought for a moment that this was parody. Wow.
2K18's monetization is gross as fuck...but like, no one cares here

I don't even want to know what they've got in store for Anthem...
We really need a like button.
I care :( I voted with my wallet and finally didn't buy it this year and they went on to sell more copies than last year lol.
Will be buying that used / on a CD key gray market site. A good policy to adopt for EA games. Even if you buy it used on Day 1 for $55 instead of $60, that's money that they don't see.
Has there been any talk about being able to matchmake and exclude custom fighters? That would allow you to circumvent this bullshit.
It's only going to get worse from here. Every EA game will become even more heinous than Battlefront 2 ever was. And they won't be the only publisher on this bandwagon of greed out to prey on the weak, vulnerable and innocent with their Wilson lootboxes. This is honestly so cartoonish that I legitimately thought for a moment that this was parody. Wow.
