I would believe it, still to this day I'm the only person in my old crew who can consistently clear Toad's slot car race. I even had my brother call me up and bring a N64 to XMAS to clear it in a fresh save of mini game island

OK after rereading faddy i'm still thinking we kill zipped. Faddy spoke to him but not about him, only noting they 'disagree' on reads.
I had a weird amount of racing games on top of the usual stuff. Topgear Overdrive. Beetle Adventure Racing, and San Francisco Rush are the ones I remember. Sam Francisco Rush was janky as hell lol

I had a bunch too. In addition to that weird Beetle racing game, I had a Hot Wheels game, Crusin' USA, DKR, Mickey's Speedway USA, and MK64.
I remember actually really liking Crusin' USA. The Beetle game was weirdly enjoyable too. Had some wild shortcuts

I spent a ton of time playing Crusin. Was a pro whenever we went to an arcade with the cabinet versions.
I personally enjoyed the battle mode where you engaged in vehicular combat in a Volkswagen.
Zipped spent most of D1 throwing shade at Hawthorn and Launch. Faddy did not like his reads and threw light shade at him. At the end of the day, Zipped abandons his read and vote of Hawthorn and threw a vote at turmoil.
It all looks bad, I think.
At the same time, why would a scum!Zipped jump off Hawthorn who was town and definitely about to flip with all the pressure being on me, Saw, Launch, Kyan and ATP.

I dont know if one of us is more or less likely to be scum or not. I think launchpad was the only one of us on hawthorn vote before the lovers claim happened but I'm not 100% on that I know I got on board after.

no particular order, not a full list or anything, just those are the first reads I have.
if a train gets rolling scum doesnt have to stay on board
when i play scum it's really easy to watch town work themselves up after even the slightest prod, then distance and find justifications for going a different way
if the train keeps going or not, it puts a focus elsewhere
tho at the same time, ive also scum-rode the hell out of some trains knowing it might make me look suspicious, but at the same time being suspeciaous in a group of suspicious people can help you not stand out as much as you'd think
Reki was a 3rd train I tried to push into contention in lieu of lover-claim, which did work as they became the 2nd most voted option.
Here are things why I thought it was a reasonable lunch option, about faddy, of whom i was sus all game and i had a mental note of the supporting-faddy arguments, which were never TOO strong, just gentle scummy thoughts. Reki also shaded chuggs, which i thought was weird and bad for reki - maybe it sounds fake, not sure what i'm saying here.
then kept throwing shade at the lovers to get them voted out. Given the faddy and lover flips i think reki MAY have been a scum train.

My record so far is really bad. Break Launch and you can break me. I didn't want to vote for Faddy early on and never got any further with it than suggesting that I might end up there eventually. I even pushed for an alternative to him. I also did a 180 with Hawthorn and ended up getting two townies for one. I regret nothing but being a fool.
Thank you for this, kyaaa. Thinking Zipped is unlikely to be a teammate just from this, and Fat, from the way they are separated. Hmm, probably also Blarg.

^^^were any of these people on kill radar? I saw some votes on Reki, and Zipped has ASS (lol always scummy syndrome). What was general feeling about the others? Not sure he'd slip a teammate into there unless they were super townread otherwise or were likely inevitable.
But maybe one in here: wee, Chuggs, Sneeks, jman/donna, Kyan. Bad for me because this also aligns with much of my early town list and now I doubt myself. hmm... there doesn't have to be one in that list tho. As I read I'll look for general feeling around them, too.

if I was scum, I probably woulda attacked a fellow scum as a way to mend the bridge later on in the game, "I disagreed with X before, but now I think we're on the same page" sort of thing, building connections for future plays where scum can line up on a vote without looking sus

Maol, have you addressed why you were so convinced? Some section of the thread you want to point to? Because... this is day one and there was an actual clear way to probably protect them. But you were among those who went hardest on this vote. Was it just the Faddy-not-voting-Hawthorn thing or was there more?

Some folks considered Zipped suspicious. The common view on Pancakes wasn't very clear. Ambulance got some attention only because he was a bit silent, it was far from anything major. Overall I think people considered him an unknown. Launch had like four votes on him at that point and the train had just recently formed. ATP wasn't under much scrutiny IIRC, there might've been some reads on him besides me and Chuggs though. I don't remember what people thought about Reki at that point.
It was just me not wanting the "what if" question to linger indefinitely. There might have been a clear way to protect them, but it became evident very quickly that there would have been a lot of air taken up by the question of their alignments. We had just flipped scum, and even if it was risky, I wanted that flip cleared up while it would do the least amount of harm to town if they were both town. I also thought there was a reasonable chance one of them was scum in this format.
It also strengthened my town read of Launch and Kyan. And even Saw a bit because it'd be very risky for a hurting scum teammate to double down on a flip that would make them look extremely bad.
But it was... one day. You know?
And why did those folks look better specifically when so many were advocating to kill the lovers?
