The penguins seem to be used for level fodder, but I also wonder about the Phantasmas. Those are the only cards you can "promote" to higher star levels, so I'm not sure what they actually do? Also, what do you need to promote them?
I wanted to go for Sez after the tier list, but while playing the chapter I kept wondering about Vildred. Like, I kinda saw the twist from a mile away, but I also kept thinking "shame he's probably not playable, that's the only bearable character of the bunch" and then I ended up pulling his 5* in my second selective summon.
When the book started glowing the librarian said something along the lines of "I think you'll form a special bond with this one!" Who am I to defy fate? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So there we go, I have a 5* evil person on my team now.
I'm thoroughly overwhelmed by the amount of resource types and upgrade options.
Like... is it even worth it slotting equipment in before you unlock all the chapters?

As for the penguins, they are strictly exp fodder. Match em up with the same element chars and watch em grow!
Wolves are a different matter. You will notice that their level is maxed from the get-go. They are used as promotion fodder. The white wolf for example is 2* and you need two 2* to rank a 2* char up to 3*. HOWEVER! Instead of doing that use two 2* crap drop (wolves/slimes/etc) to promote the white wolf into a 3* wolf instead. Now you have a 3* fodder to promote a 3* unit to its 4* stats. I know thats a big confusing but thats how they operate.

Dont get discouraged. 1.25% 5* drop rate is a tough pill to swallow against games that have 5-7%
Not even that, I really misread the selective roll and thought I could pick what I wanted and then I'd get 30 chances to try again later on lol. So I ended up getting a bunch of artifacts with a couple 3 star heroes

Nothing above a 3* in 120 10 pulls? So 1200 pulls total, seems almost statistically impossible.
Play store says my phone is compatible with the game, so I installed it. It's completed and I run it, then the screen goes to landscape mode for a second and the game just closes.

Is your phone rooted? If so you will need to use something like Magisk Hide to get it to run

Yeah, android phone. It doesn't have any external sd card slot, only 16gb internal.
I wish there were more characters that looked like Dark Corvus. He's the only cool looking character in the guide that was linked earlier in this thread. :/

I had the same issue.
Turn off wifi/data until you get to the title screen then turn it back on. Should work

Damn. I got him after 8 rolls but got nothing else so continued rolling and got him at 23 with a 4* artifact. I feel extremely lucky now :P

Join the discord its in there. I also linked it in one of my posts above.
This game is still relatively new. The KR version has only been out for about 3 months so there is no mass generated wiki or community guide yet. Grow with us.
Oh wow...didn know this game that fresh. Amazing how fast they delivered a Global/English release.
Still very early and jsut reached Rank 10.....guess there are Guilds ? If there is an Era one i need to get in at some point heh.

Yes theres only one guide and its constantly being updated as the game is new to all. There are guilds but I believe the maximum # of people that can be in one is 10-11 and they provide no huge benefits at the moment besides a shop to gleam so new items.

I settled for an Aramintha, Rin, and Tieria roll, so my team revolves around debuffs (defense crush), DOTs (Burn), and the many attack buffs to melt my opponents.
I'm a sucker for Aramintha's animations. There are few things cooler than snapping your fingers and setting someone ablaze.
E: Don't fight Sez in the arena. He's an asshole.
