psst
I have 8 characters with a crafter at level70+ so I'll be doing my part on Sargatanas.Almost time for Ishgard restoration. Crafting nerds, unite!
Which server will reach the goal first?
Its really not. There's one hard mechanic (The beyond death/knockback).
We don't know all that much about restoration but they did mention anyone can participate and in the stuff they've shown you could see you could get xp from it, so it's not max level only, but it's unclear if lower levels will contribute as much, get similar rewards and if there's a minimum level. We'll see tuesday.Went through The Copied Factory (blind) last night for the first time. Was a great time and most of it seems like memorization. Third boss gave me the most trouble as I had to watch health bars, the ground, and the boss itself for cues.
Picked up the Healer Jacket and 2B coffer on the first run. Looks cool, but I hope they add a 2A glamour in 5.2.
Really want to go back and finish the Ivalice raid for all the gear--hope people are still running it.
Trying to catch up on crafting. Is Ishard Resto going to be focused on end-game crafting, or more like the Ehchatl tribe from ARR? Also, GC turn ins (with engineering buff) is crazy experience now. I jumped two levels on a single turn in. Seems like early crafting now is just Waste Not spam with some MM or Innovation at the end. Hope it picks up later.
Yeah exp gains are absolutely insane right now. Might bother to level up ALC on my alts so I can grind out yellow scripts whenever I want w/o issue. We don't know all that much about restoration but they did mention anyone can participate and in the stuff they've shown you could see you could get xp from it, so it's not max level only, but it's unclear if lower levels will contribute as much, get similar rewards and if there's a minimum level. I find it more and more concerning that we haven't heard anything at all about Relic Weapons yet. :(
Relic weapons are 5.25 content(probably), so it's not that surprising tbh. They'll mention them once they do the 5.2 live letter I'm sure.I find it more and more concerning that we haven't heard anything at all about Relic Weapons yet. :(
It's pretty fast. Generally you're just gonna be grinding most of the time, but you can grind at spots that give leve fish for some bonus exp. Just get some food and the gathering exp manuals and some streaming/podcasts/etc.Does fisher level up this fast all the way through or is there a slowdown after 50.
Its still relatveiyl fast but 30-50 with ARR is kinda equivalent to 50-60 with how long it'll take you to level up. If you just fish until you do your GC turn ins, do your custom deliveries with Fisher. And then from 60-70 do Namazu you should be 80 in no time.Does fisher level up this fast all the way through or is there a slowdown after 50.

No relic this expansion! All Eureka weapons automatically become ilevel 525 at 5.5!
Which sets a precedent for them to just start them later anyway. I'd start worrying if they don't talk about it in the 5.2 patch but until then not too much of an issue I think, and I don't see them discontinuing the content when they can just go back to old relic style with very little dev time and still have people play it.The thing is usually they're in the .1 patch line, the only reason they were in .2 in stormblood is because Eureka got delayed. :(
Farm money and buy a crafted one. It's the easiest and most straightforward way and they've been a lot better at keeping crafted weapons relevant with the new upgrading system. Can save a lot of money buying materials and having it crafted but since you said without outside help I assume you meant that, but you can level your crafters yourself(isn't really a big deal anymore, can even just rush blacksmith or whatever crafts the weapon and ignore the rest) too.I really wish they'd add alternative weapons so upgrading a weapon in the post game without outside help wasn't absolute ass.
Either do Extreme content, join the Relic Grind, or Drop tomestones and spam the normal raid you hopefully have the ilv for to get a weapon upgrade!
Absolute ass system.
Honestly its what I've been recommending (And in odd number patches you can buy other stuff to try to maximize savings when getting your weapon) but its still just really blegh in general because the game is pretty hand holdy with upgrades until the current content and then it just laughs at you as you dig around for 1k Tomes and fumble around with tokens and some extra junk to trade in for a weapon and this is something that's definitely not explained its just that 99% of the community already knows what to do.Farm money and buy a crafted one. It is now yeah, can get a lot of stuff though, glamour items, relic weapons(shiny weapons), dyeable AF3(the Stormblood class armors), mounts, hairstyles, emotes, minions, orchestrion rolls, shiny armor(augmented elemental armor in the very last stage), it's a ton of stuff. Takes a while though and a bunch you can buy on the market(although prices tend to be pretty high, ranging from 100-200k for the "cheap" stuff to 20+millions for the expensive stuff). Is the point of the Eurkea thing to just farm specific glams? I did a little tonight and it was pretty fun, but I'm not sure what the point of it all is/was entirely.
Also, maybe jumping the gun a bit but I applied to the ERA guild and haven't heard back yet. Does it normally take a while?
Did 52-80 in 2 days, no leaves, weekly turns ins, just crystarium facets, quite likely the fastest job to lvlDoes fisher level up this fast all the way through or is there a slowdown after 50.
Collectibles are your bread and butter. In level 60, do you recommend anything besides deliveries/leves to level up MIN?

Yeah the mechanics I saw weren't so diificult, the thing is we couldn't get past phase 1 because we failed the DPS check :( Most of us were 450 so I'll have to keep grinding to increase my ilvl. Its really not. There's one hard mechanic (The beyond death/knockback).
The last phase w/ the exoflares theres a safe you can sit in and pew pew. I watch Sfia's stream and was extremely amused when I saw this.
That would be because most people have bad dps. This isn't a jab at them, a lot of players are new to mmos or just not that into min maxing and or aren't that great at real time combat. It's something I'm coming to terms with. The pool of player playing their job to its strengths is limited.Yeah the mechanics I saw weren't so diificult, the thing is we couldn't get past phase 1 because we failed the DPS check :( Most of us were 450 so I'll have to keep grinding to increase my ilvl.

I bought something about a week ago that took like 15 hours to show up and I've had something take close to 24 hours before. I don't know why they get held up like that at times but it can certainly happen. So I bought an optional item at Mogstation and I never received the mail or the item. I know the bank discounted the money, so is not like the transaction failed.
I contacted support but they told me I have to wait 48h (wtf) before I can't raise an actual ticket and they can look into it.
So... Is this common? It shouldn't take hours and much less 48h to have an item I paid for. I bought another lvling potion and got it instantly...
Anyone else had issues with Mogstation purchases?

Hmm I didn't consider that. We got enrage at 25% HP lol. Oh well, I'll try my luck again later!Twice now I've managed to clear Hades with one dps either afk or offline for the whole fight, and it's not like I've got savage gear or anything, if people aren't dying and they're still not killing before the enrage then they must seriously be doing something wrong

My friends and I had a commission of our characters finished today! I am the NIN on the left :D
One thing I bought took over a day to arrive, think it might have been the flying carpet.
Was it an account wide item? If not you might have sent it to the wrong character?
I've never had a problem with MogStation purchases, but I've heard a lot of "horror" stories about how sometimes it'll randomly take a long ass time for a purchase to arrive. While I haven't beaten it yet I can agree with that it's not a hard fight, going by the vids I watched. But seriously... I don't know if it's because I am 2 (?) weeks late but when I finally had time last night to give it a go it took forever to find a group that got past P1 because people die too everything. And even then the group that did, instantly wiped in P2 3 times in a row then disbanded. Not sure why the devs thought it to be a good idea to put DPS and mechanic-checks every other minute. I was very hyped for the fight and it's tons of fun but a PuG-nightmare, even more than E2S.Its really not. There's one hard mechanic (The beyond death/knockback).

Hah, yes my friend plays a female Hyur XDWait is the 3rd character in the row a Hyur? I thought commissions forgot those existed.
Nobody died, we just lacked the deeps it seems :(Were people getting killed by the flares? It gets easier to dodge those without dropping any dps after a few practices
Shadowbringers is gonna bring even more tears, be prepared (y'all know which scene I'm talking about!)Just finished Doma Castle in the Stormblood expansion and this damn game has made me cry. Between what happened afterwards and the rushing nostalgia as the Doma theme from FFVI played I just could not keep it bottled up! Damn video games man!!
Its not even hard though! (I say as a boomer who's raided on an off since Second Coils)While I haven't beaten it yet I can agree with that it's not a hard fight, going by the vids I watched.
