Sayo Yasuda
So tragic that in the end after everything she had the opportunity to live a happy life with her beloved, but she couldn't make herself believe that she deserved forgiveness, or that she was worthy of being loved.
Part of me really wants the extra episode in Saku to be a confirmation of the Ikuko = Sayo fan theory, but at the same time it's almost rosatrice levels of delusion and it would really undermine the beautiful tragedy that is the entire story. Ughhhhh.
