No idea but I caught two oarfish earlier in the span of five catches and felt pretty good about it

they are also rare and worth like 14k bells, so it's not like getting one for the museum is the only value in catching them; they are one of the most valuable things, if not the actual most valuable thing, you can catch + sell currently
