Honestly doesn't bode well for Suicide Squad or Gotham Knights.
I don't think people care for stat-chasing in their Superhero games.

Why would I buy the game after such a terrible experience? I know it isn't much different because I've seen my friends play it. That footage I linked wasn't even my gameplay, it was a friends.
Commercial betas like the one released for Marvel's Avengers are released primarily to advertise the game, to serve as a demo. They're labelled beta and attached to pre-order incentives so that folks feel priveledged to have the opportunity to play them. Take it from me, someone who has seen these conversations internally.
From what I've seen of the full game, the game is trivial in difficulty and very repetitive. Perhaps not so bad as the example I linked (which is not my video, but a friends) but pretty damn repetitive. I think the bulk of the problems stem from designing a game for a very diverse roster of characters with different capabilities. So rather than being all that threatening, the easy solution to that balancing problem is to just make the game rather simplistic on the AI side of things.
In any case, it's just not for me based on what I have played/seen.

Yeah, it's not even the most-played Crystal Dynamics game at the moment:On Steam, there's more people playing Skyrim (7k) than Avengers (1k) today. It's not even on the top 100 most played games of the platform, behind games like Left 4 Dead 2, Fallout 4, Star Wars TOR and Dark Souls 3.
I have no doubt its some sort of live service game because a) its clearly a game made for co-op and b) it's Warner Bros. They've hopped on every gaming trend the last decade from online passes to season passes to loot boxes to whatever the hell that mobile harry potter game was.For better and for worse Suicide Squad and Gotham Knights look like significantly smaller and more refined experiences compared to Avengers. For better because Avengers seems to have clearly been outdone by its own ambition while SS and GK look more reliably functioning and safe and achieving in what they're intended to do. For worse because if Avengers does manage to fix itself and get rolling then it's got a whole lot more going for it long-term (at least compared to GK, since we know nothing about SS).

I support you every step of the way.I will enter every thread about this to complain about the insane and stupid call to only include three villains.

lol
If it was truly an actual beta. Betas of this generation have usually been within a few weeks of launch and that is never enough time to "change" the game before launch. You may see a few critical bug fixes but it's usually just to test server load and a LOT of the criticisms people have during the "beta" are still there after release.I'm just saying it seems silly to make definitive statements based on a beta experience, since games *always* change between beta and full release.
I'm not saying you should magically start liking the game or anything, it's of course totally fine that it's not for you. I'm just leery of anyone using stuff from betas as evidence, that's all lol
