it def wont look like that on any currently available xbox. if it is cross gen it can look like that on PC. if it is strictly for this gen i dont think it will look like that on PC either
We don't know other than Halo 6. Unlikely it's anything more than a Halo title in an open world with a narrative and the option to explore should the desire take you. Think Far Cry meets Halo. But that's just an assumption
All we know is that it's the next mainline entry in the Halo series and that it will follow up on H5's story but in a way that will make it easy for new players to jump in.
It's definitely going to be an FPS.
imho it is not about the graphics but more the art-style used.I'm not sure what the fervour is for the graphics, it was all cutscenes. Don't we really need to see an uncut gameplay sequence to have any realistic idea of what it's going to look like? I mean, we've seen nothing of the actual game in all fairness.

That's some serious misdirection if it's not. We just need to get Stinkles on video talking about it to confirm. He's got a terrible poker face.
I already said the final game probably won't look this good.yes in the same way that the original uncharted 4 teaser was realtime

Hey 343, the numberless entries in the halo franchise always sell the worst, so enjoy.
Has nothing to do with them being numberless. Has to do with those games either being a spinoff or a remaster.
Master Chief on the cover + big marketing campaign. That's the problem. For someone who doesn't follow every bit of gaming news, this title sounds like some sort of halo RPG = not interested

What a bizarre venn diagram of people who are informed in games enough to make that assumption to begin with but not enough to look it up before coming to that conclusion. That's the problem. I wonder what 343 has against numbers in their titles.
They tried to sell halo 5 as just Halo: Guardians at first
before they were made to tack the 5 on.
Now they have Halo Infinity and have left the 6 off.

Was that confirmed or hinted at somewhere? Presumably they are mixing the formula up in some significant way though, or..?

The title and trailer definitely smacked of a soft reboot much more than a straight sequel.
Halo 5 was such a departure from 4, narrative speaking, that they stopped referring to the story arc as the "forerunner saga" rather than trilogy. Infinite looks to be yet another massive departure, so continuing to slap numbers on - implying direct sequels - woild be underselling imo.
The Didact and his robot dogs and bug men made out of caveman juice took the mystery that was the very core of the Halo franchise and turned it into a complete joke.4 narratively was fine. If they had continued that thread and had the didact come back but with more power that would have been great. Instead they had... Locke?
They can't reboot it without finishing the story. It's interesting that they chose Halo: Combat Evolved for the game tag on YouTube and not Halo 5. Maybe this is a reboot for the franchise?

It was very far from "fine." It was the worst thing they could have done with the franchise. Locke And His Shitty Friends can easily be tossed aside to be forgotten, but there's no getting away from what they did to Forerunners.
To what extent I wonder though? There hasn't been a whisper of Spartan Locke and they've been emphasising a focus on Chief. It's not a reboot, as it's taking place 2 years after the events of 5. I'd imagine they're looking to refresh the way it plays, the story will refer to what happened in 5 though.
"the characters I personally dislike must die" is my favorite meme within fanbases of long franchises. With any luck the intro shows spartan locke put into an escape pod and flung towards a sun. Cortona then suddenly fixes herself and kills all of the prometheans in a big blast .
Where was that mentioned? It's not a reboot, as it's taking place 2 years after the events of 5. I'd imagine they're looking to refresh the way it plays, the story will refer to what happened in 5 though.
