As sunlight shined through the curtains, you slowly woke from your slumber. Your room was still a bit disheveled, but there would be plenty of time for that today. It had been a surprisingly peaceful night, despite the initial sense of unease you had. Everything was going to be fine after all.

After getting dressed, you exited your room to head to the kitchen when you were startled by a shriek. Running towards the source of the sound it didn't take long to identify the cause - scrawled on the walls in large letters was the following:

WE ARE AMONG YOU. DEATH COMES FOR YOU ALL.

More tenants gathered and a murmur began to grow. A voice behind you could be heard - "If I find the person who did this they are dead. Dead I tell you."

It was going to be a long day..

It turns out that panic spreads like wildfire. It didn't take long for the residents to turn on each other. A snide remark, a subtle implication, or even just the wrong glance could set someone else's gears spinning. What starts as a theory turns into fact with nary a shred of evidence. And just like that it spirals into what has taken place before you. It started with one person shouting that turmoil7 was the one guilty of this threat. It quickly become a chorus of shouts. When pressed to explain his whereabouts he simply did not have it within himself to put up much of a fight. And then suddenly the chorus of shouts became a flurry of commotion, and when it all settled down and the house members staggered back there in the middle was turmoil7's broken body.

You woke with a start. It had been a long, mostly restless night. The sight of turmoil7's body invading your every thought. The temptation to go to the cops was still strong, but you didn't know these people and you couldn't even be certain which ones took part in his death. Not to mention there was a clearly implied threat that no one should talk about what happened or else...

Still though, nothing about this seemed right. In fact - that wasn't even the only thing that seemed off. You suddenly realized despite it being after sunrise outside your window still seemed pitch black. An uneasy feeling settled upon you and you quickly shuffled out of your room to investigate further. Upon exiting your room you were surprised to see most everyone gathered already. One of them looked at you - "About time you woke up. We're seriously fucked." You furrowed your brow, confused and alarmed. Before you could ask what was going on another voice interrupted to tell you the shocking news.

"We're trapped in here. And we're dying." Their gaze drifted, and as you followed you saw it - two dead bodies were splayed out.

With one death looming over this day already you tried not to panic. There had to be a way out of this cursed house – if only you could find it. Everyone had tried the obvious – doors, windows, to no avail. Whatever evil resided in this house was intent on preventing you from leaving. You searched, looking for anything that might have been overlooked, but came up empty handed. Returning to the atrium, the lights suddenly went out. You could faintly see a figure before you, calling out "who is it? Identify yourself!"

"Redrum, redrum, redrum!"

A silence then hung for what felt like an eternity, a chill going up your spine. "Okay, this is not funny. Seriously, cut it the fuck out."

The figure paused, and then let out a laugh. "Okay, I'm sorry. I couldn't res-"

And with that a deafening crash drowned out all other sounds, debris and dust kicking up – causing a fit of coughing. When the coughing spell wore off you were horrified to see what had happened. Somehow the chandelier had fallen, and with it TheWorthyEdge had been taken out too.

A quiet, uneasy feeling settled over the house. It seems the reality of the situation was finally starting to sink in. It was almost surreal, so many people trapped in this horrid house, bodies piled together, and nary a word being said.

As the day passed though you felt something was amiss. It took awhile to place what, until with a start you realized someone was missing. With your stomach in a knot you went to search for them. It didn't take long - you knew as soon as you entered their room it was too late. Blood was splattered everywhere. As you creeped closer a scream forced itself out of your throat. The sight was horrifying, it was a mess of blood and stab wounds. What was truly horrifying though was their own hand curled around the handle.

It was that time again. There was no doubt in your mind that another victim has been claimed. Sure enough, as everyone met outside their rooms it was clear that Lone_Prodigy was missing. You apprehensively went into his room, still traumatized from the last time you had to go searching for a missing household member.

To your surprise, he wasn't mutilated or dismembered. He was simply laying in bed, with no clear cause of his death. There was something strange though. In his hand, Lone_Prodigy was clutching several pages of writing. As you began to read through them it was clear that he had been writing about the events that unfolded up to this point. It was shocking just how well written it all was, from each morning to night.

"I wish I could write that well."

You were losing it. You were finally losing it. You knew there were forces conspiring against you. They wanted you to die. They wanted to stop you from recording these events. They wanted you to be lost to time.

You had to strike again, stop them from getting to you. You would carefully interrogate each remaining house member. You'd get to the bottom of this.

Approaching Kopite from behind, you quickly held your knife to his throat.

"Talk"

"Wh- what, oh god, oh god it was you all along fuck me god I don't want to die."

"Tell me what you are. TELL ME HOW TO ESCAPE!"

"I don't…. HEEEEEEEEELP!"

And with those words, you flinched – startled by the sudden shout. Before you could even realize what had happened you felt the blood on you. Kopite collapsed to the floor, clutching at the hole in his neck.

Your eyes shot open. You hadn't intended on falling asleep. You're actually shocked you were even able to after the events from yesterday. Warily you stood up and checked your room for anything seeming amiss. Once you were certain everything was left untouched you ventured out. It was time to see who was dead now.

It was a ghost town in the main hallway. Not too surprising with all the death, but still... You walked around searching for others but it seems they had all locked themselves in their respective rooms. Eventually you reached EzekelRAGE's room, only to be met with silence. Checking his room, you didn't see anything amiss. You searched throughout the house, but everywhere you looked there was nothing amiss. Or at least nothing new, what with the bodies and blood everywhere...

After wasting your morning searching for him you gave up. Maybe he had found a way out, that lucky bastard. Returning to your room, you were met with a gruesome sight. EzekelRAGE was hanging upside down, dead. One arm stretched to the floor, and written in blood was EzekelRAGE's last will:
