Can't find a stronger contrast than Joseph and Jonathan though...at least on a roll. When you look at them it's like looking at two edges of a spectrum cause jonathan would be rolling in his coffin to everything joseph did lol

She and giorno end up being two of the most down to business jojos, the only thing you could call "excentric" about her is that she's a female protagonist in a shonen manga with an active sexual life and God forbid having an "impure" girl in a shonen magazine (that's why she's fucking awesome :p)
I think this is true for all jojo parts... I couldn't feel much for Johnny and Gyro so no matter how well written part 7 is I can't care much, yeat i love part 6 for the mess it is cause it has a lot of cool characters for just one bad rotten apple... Jojolion's family doesn't appear much but their dynamics alone made me love the part, we had some family matters in jojo before but we never got to deall with a douchebag brother, sassy sisters, weird lil children and just the best grandpa on earth thatactually managed to have relevance to th story...

Was it? There was just that one scene with the old lady screaming at Avdol and Joseph in an embarrassing position, and I think was less TEH GAYS and more "these two guys are fucking in public" (which, even in London in 2019, is a big no-no). Ah, and also she thought Joseph was into her, but then it turns out he's more into hot and strong Egyptian men, so tough luck lady. Mariip mentioned earlier that she also felt ill-at-ease with the visual joke about the canon boobs I think...?
My issues with part 3 summarised in one line, despite parts 1 and 2 being written way before part 3, 3 is the only one that feels like a product of its time, constantly, sometimes it's just a 90s comedy show with 2010s animation, and yeah i hate the boob cannons :p

Yeah, I despise how many "small" moments the anime cut out from the manga. Things like the Mickey Mouse quote and Josuke saying he forgot to wash his hands after he took a shit made the part for me.

Though, I was never really a fan of the fan translation kinda making Josuke out to be a bit less flamboyant(?)/more hetero-sounding in a few of his speech bubbles. (Taking away a heart from the end of one of them, tsk tsk!)
And this is why I'm excited to finally have an official English translation of our beloved Part IV manga out over the coming years starting next month
This makes me wonder if the official translations or part 5 will keep some of the italian the fan translation team used... it's not that faithful to the material, i think, but it's so damn charming...
The part 3 gross-out scenes aren't as bad in the manga. Plus the art and pacing are both much better as well
Problem is lenght and price per volume, i could buy phantom blood or battle tendency cause it'll be 3-4 volumes each at 30-40BRL, would kill my wallet(usually mangas cost 16) but id know money would be sorta well spent... but oh man i only wanted to buy parts 4-6 and maybe jojolion :/
