To be fair, his first two movies were lame enough that they didn't need to exist. I wouldn't be surprised if Ragnarok was the start of a trilogy.
Also Robert Downey JR became too expensive and Captain America got tied into the Avengers plot, so it makes sense why they didn't get a 4th movie. Also their actors are clearly done with this while Hemsworth seems to actually enjoy it.
Not to mention RDJ is getting pretty old for the role. I'd imagine it's pretty rough on his body even with a stunt double.
Just the little bit I've seen of Thor+Carol in the trailers, makes me want a full movie of primarily them two playing off of each other. In fact, all future Thor films should be Thor partnered up with an MCU hero in adventure.

RDJ probably lasted this long only because his character is conveniently always in a suit
Most , if not all, of his Iron Man scenes are CGI so I dont know how physical it is for him. It's not like hes Christopher Lee old.
Yes, but sometime in the future when the movie can get away with a Logan-style tonal outlier that's as brutal as that story deserves.

I am torn on this. Because while Ragnarok was clearly the best Thor movie, it's not really a great Thor movie persay.
He was still doing his own stunts up to Iron Man 3 but may have stopped after he broke his ankle on that movie.
Id love a trilogy with the current creative team; maybe with giving the hammer to another char in the end.
If true i'd be surprised hemsworth would be down for another thor movie, he's been at this about as long as RDJ and evans
Well surely he's aware that Ragnarok has really revitalized the character for people, with himself having said it's the most fun he's ever had with the role
It's gotta be a transition movie. I just don't see the old guard sticking around past cameos in phase 4 and beyond
