Despicable behaviour, protecting serial abusers and blacklisting journalists that broke the stories.

Also if anyone was ever shocked about the David Cage allegations they must not have been paying attention to any of the David Cage games.

i've seen it reported on pretty much all major vide game websites (ign, game informer, gamespot, polygon, kotaku, eurogamer), the general media obviously won't cover it

yes, but i don't expect the usual gaming media trying to go too deep on this.

For the general public video games are toxic LOL and Dota events that lobotomise their kids and they'd be happy to get rid of it forever

Will we get an answer on what's happening next? Or is everyone going to forget all about this?

Internet might forget about it, but remember at least 5 former employees are in Court against Quantic Dream (more to follow since it might encourage other people?) and a preliminary investigation for harassment and discrimination has been opened by the Paris public prosecutor's office.

Edit: Maybe other charges could follow regarding how QD handled their employee's contracts (including social fraud) and the misuse of company assets from Guillaume de Fondaumière (if what he did isn't totally legal)

Its very likely IMO. There's not much to add about it than say "David Cage is kind of an asshole", which in all honesty isn't good enough a reason to end his career, projects or company. Any legal action will apparently target the (unnamed) IT rep, who may or may not get away with it.
The blacklisting doesn't matter one way or another. Maybe it happened this time and maybe it didn't, but it happened before and will probably happen again, without any major consequences on either side.
