So AC is probably over 5 million with digital...? So it's definitely a lock to become the best selling game of all time in Japan now right

My prediction: Xbox will sell more then last year. Maybe 2.5 - 3k. Game Pass possibly increasing numbers.

Probably (if NSW related stocks are good) the upcoming Golden Week will be the first truly good one in a long time.

PS4 just bounded its way to 9.1 million, Switch to 13.4, great holds for FF and AC. RIP my Trials of Mana prediction. Also RIP to Nihon Falcom

I thought trials would sell most on switch, for some reason lol.

Anyway, that clearly shows which platform third party should prioritize /s

Joke aside, good sales, always happy when a AA rpg does good.

And lol at AC ridiculous legs !

Incredible results again for Animal Crossing! 283k in Week 6 is absolutely stunning!

Great result for Trials of Mana as well! 150k across the two platforms is higher than many expected.

Final Fantasy VII Remake dropped only 7%. That's impressive as well. It will be hard, but it would be quite a stunt if the game manages to leg its way to 1M.

Ring Fit Adventure has LEGS. But man, Nintendo, when will the supply situation finally improve? :(

Not sure what Falcom was expecting from Trails of Zero Kai, but I guess 10k FW is in line with the performance of other Kai releases. I guess this version is mostly for the west anyway (not sure if it's announced already, but I'm sure it will come westward eventually).

Switch hardware is above 100k again. Good. Keep the supply coming.

Bic Camera is having lotteries for the chance to buy switches and Ring Fit Adventure. The page to apply for the lotteries was so so crowded that many people couldn't even apply. It reminds me of when the Switch first launched. There is still so much unfulfilled demand

Looking at the evergreens, I'm betting Link is climbing this week.

Has AC already surpassed Pokemon worldwide?

Last quarterly report pokemon was at 16 million worldwide. Next report it will have higher numbers and we will only see AC sales from it's first 11 days on the market. So probably no. I definitely think it'll happen eventually.

01./01. [NSW] Animal Crossing: New Horizons # <ETC> (Nintendo) {2020.03.20} (¥5.980) - 283.913 / 3.895.159 (-1%)
absolutely crazy.

2./00. [PS4] Trials of Mana # <RPG> (Square Enix) {2020.04.24} (¥5.980) - 80.383 / NEW
03./00. [NSW] Trials of Mana # <RPG> (Square Enix) {2020.04.24} (¥5.980) - 70.114 / NEW
not too bad. switch version will probably pull ahead eventually.

Thanks hiska-kun. Do you have a chart with all home consoles? (or at least the big ones: switch, wii, ps1, ps2, ps3)

Small sidenote but is PS4 slim also having some shortages in Japan or did Pro have some promotions? Otherwise it wouldn't make sense that the ratio between them changed that much from last week.

So next week AC will likely be at 4 million at retail. Crazy.

Likely? ;P

LikEly???
If Switch had enough stock we could have seen DS-like sales trend outside holidays.
agreed, I think we can see a 500k+ week if Nintendo shipped that amount

Famitsu states that the next Top 10 will be published on May 14th. No need to make random guesses on that, at least.

that's going to be a crazy day, AC numbers going to give me a heart attack lmao

It already reach 1m with digital copy
Yeap and now has a chance at retail too :)

Always happy to see one of Square Enix's non-AAA RPG's perform well. Hopefully Bravely Default II sells well later this year, too.
